My family has been eating here for many years. It is one of my favorite places in Vaughan. The food is very good and the staff are friendly and accommodating; our table had some special requests which were all met. Thanks on this occasion to our server Kyle for the interesting chat and great service.

I've been going here for years... It's not the same anymore. Quality of food, quantaty of food has really gone done. Ribs are smaller, you get half the fries, calamari dish looks like half has already been eaten by someone else. Still love their eggless salad dressing but won't be racing back anytime soon.

2024 November 4★ Baton Rouge is one of those staple restaurant with a set expectation being so established. Here, you'll find some exceptional food along with some great atmosphere. Spinach nacho dip. This was pretty decent, a good mixture of spinach and artichoke. Chips were light and warm. STARTER SALAD Served with croutons, chopped egg and Italian dressing. Not bad. A different take on salad. SHORT RIB SEAFOOD PAPPARDELLE Fresh pappardelle sautéed in a porcini mushroom veal stock with black tiger shrimp, sautéed scallops, white wine, fresh parsley and chunks of braised beef short rib. Pretty good. Great portions. CHIMICHURRI BAVETTE Canada AAA bavette with chimichurri on top. Steak was tender. Sauce was ok. Filet mignon. As expected. No real deviation from anywhere else. Still very good. Bailey's coffee. It's ok. Getting here can be cumbersome with heavy traffic in this area. Free parking.

The burrata appetizer at this grill house and bar was really good! The cheese was creamy and fresh, and it paired perfectly with the cherry tomatoes and crunchy toast. Definitely a great start to the meal. However, the service was pretty slow, which took away from the experience a bit, and for what you get, it felt a little pricey. That said, the food was solid, and I’d still recommend it if you’re not in a rush and don’t mind splurging a bit!

I'd say the food I got was good and tasty. Although Baton Rouge has lost its quality over the years, I used to be a regular customer but I feel like their portions have gotten smaller, and their prices have gone up. I used to go crazy for their ribs, but this time, they weren't as "Fall off the bone" good as they were, they were just decent. I would go again, but I wouldn't get the ribs again.

Thank you Kyle for your wonderful and attentive service. We haven’t been to Baton Rouge in 10 years, and so glad that we returned. Thank you for your recommendations, Kyle! The Mushroom Chicken, and the Santa Fe Chicken dishes were delicious, just like you said. The dish in the first picture was the mushroom chicken. A tender piece of chicken on top of mashed potatoes with a delicious mushroom sauce over the chicken. The chicken was so moist and flavorful, this meal is definitely very filling! The second picture is the Santa Fe chicken. Again, the chicken was so moist and flavorful. It had goat cheese crumbled on top, and wild rice on the side. This dish is definitely lighter than the mushroom chicken, but just as flavourful. Kyle, your one of the best servers we’ve come accross in while, always checking in with us, and his other tables often. And so pleasant!! We will defininitely return. * Sidenote: when we first arrived, they asked us if we were celebrating anything and we told them it was our anniversary. They surprised us at the end with a tiramisu desert and sparkler. So thoughtful… thank you so much!

I came here for a work function. I ordered the prix fixe menu, which includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. I ordered the BBQ pork back ribs with lobster tail for $68. The lobster tail was very big and juicy. The ribs were kind of disappointing the meat was dry inside and basically got bbq sauce brushed on top. Perhaps a side of bbq sauce should be provided. The garlic mashed potato was creamy and very good. The appetizers we ordered were pretty good as well. We ordered calamari, tempura shrimp, cauliflower wings, and beef tartare. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside is that the server added 2 extra Creme Brule on our bill. We ended up just getting the additional desserts to avoid the hassle. Overall, I am pretty impressed with the food compared to the last time I visited here. The menu definitely has something for everyone's taste.

I had a nice lunch here during the week. I started with the delicious Caesar salad: fresh and crisp with an excellent creamy dressing. For the main course, I had the fried chicken sandwich. A bit too much batter and not quite enough meat, but very still tasty. The fries were terrific - thin, hot, fresh, crispy and wonderfully seasoned. I finished with a generous carrot cake drizzled with maple, which was also delicious. Service was a bit slow for the main course, but the waitress was friendly and attentive. The decor is modern and inviting. Overall, a good experience if you’re looking for a nice, casual place.
