Mississauga’s best Italian bakery, in my opinion. The freshest bread. The best cookies. The friendliest staff. The tastiest hot table. How many places do we have left where they can still serve you in Italian? When I walk through the doors, it feels and smells like home. I come here because I know that it’s still Nonna in the kitchen, putting her love into every roll and dessert.

Warm local Italian grocery store with lovely bakery/patisserie. Great place to hear multiple languages.

We went here because my husbands mother always went here for many years. Although they have many different items, such as baked goods and a hot table with Italian goodies, and it is fairly busy, we were astonished at the prices they were charging for their goods. Yes, they are allowed to charge what they want, but you better come prepared to pay what they ask. We bought 6 almond crescent cookies and paid almost $14 for them! 😲 They said that they charge by the weight, not the individual cookies; no wonder they didn't have any prices posted. Yikes! We won't be back, that's for sure! The service was great, the atmosphere was authentic.

I’ve been going there since 1999 and I haven’t been there in a while. I was craving some lasagna. So I asked for 1 serving and what I got was more of a child’s serving. 😱 which they are selling it for $8.99. I was a bit taken back. So then I ordered dessert 1 cannoli & a small beaver tail . All of this for $19.00!! Maybe post your prices up so be can make a decision. When I asked for a receipt I was given my debt receipt and not my transaction receipt. 🧐 so I decided to check out their website and surprise no prices. It’s very misleading. I won’t be going back after this bad experience

I've been going here since I was a child. Great local family run buisness. The pastries and fresh bread are a must! True Italian bakery, little gem on Britannia.

Great place in my neighborhood to get some fresh baked goods, deli meat, pastries, and Italian grocery items. Been many times but never wrote a review. In my most recent visit I picked up two pre made dough balls so I could make some pizza for the family that night. I usually make my own dough but I was in a pinch and I knew this bakery had dough for sale. I had seen it in past visits along with their in-house tomato sauce. If you visit here, take your time and walk around! There are lots of goodies to be found/tried. Anyway I brought the dough home and let it rise in a towel covered bowl for about two hours. It rose perfectly and each ball made me 4 small personal pizzas, perfect for my pizza oven. Crust came out amazing in my pizza oven and honestly was as good as my home made dough. I would definitely give these guys a visit if you've never been here before. Maybe I'll try that pizza sauce next time I come through.. :)

It seemed to us that they tried to cheat us out of payment. for 2 mini canolas that cost $2.50 at other bakeries they charged us $11.50! I wouldn't say they're worth it. The eclair cost us $4.50, but it was not good for that price and the filling was 2-3 out of 10. There are no price tags on the display and you cannot determine in advance how much your purchases will cost you. The receipt does not contain the required information about the product and you will not be able to understand what they are charging you for.
