First time at Brassie Pub and it won’t be the last! It was hard to decide because they have an amazing menu but I went with the Blue Cheese Burger and it was fabulous! I also had sweet potato fries and it was all I could do to take that last bite!!

Generally impressed with the food at Brassie. Very generous portions. I love that there is daily home made soups. Quite good, although my last two visits I found the soup to be way way too salty. Spoiled otherwise excellent soup. Traditional Yorkies are amazing.

Had a Guinness and the Brisket Yorkie. Fabulous! Enough leftovers for a 2nd meal, huge portion at a decent price, especially considering l got 2 meals out of it. Highly recommend this pub 🍻. And fast friendly service 👌

I know every place is expensive to eat but $ $29.45 for a one PC fish and chip dinner with a beer I thought was too much. I don't eat out much anymore because of the pressure of having to tip. I'm sorry but that's how I feel. Bring the prices back down to earth so tipping good service is affordable. It is a nice place to eat.

Best Nachos in Hamilton!! I will, their food quality got a little lower since when they opened but recently it seems like they have been getting a lot better! Brassie is an Ancaster staple filled with tons of locals and travellers. Great Food, Great drinks, Great Atmosphere.

Update - tried calling 6 or 7 times to book a table of 12 for Sunday lunch. Phone rang for at least 10 rings during open hours but no answer and no machine. I guess I’ll try elsewhere in town. Unfortunate, I liked it here on our last visit. Our group of four had a very nice lunch here. I had the beef dip sandwich, while the others enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower and Brassie nachos. I would come back just for the fries. Overall, our experience was very good. The girl serving us was great, the beer was cold and the lunch was very tasty.

I'm actually updating this to talk about my dining experience on November 28, 2024. My dinner was fantastic, but the best part was the friendly, attentive service. I was seated promptly by Alisha, who told me the specials of the day. Torri served me, and was friendly and knowledgeable and educated me about the brisket, since I'd never had one before. The whole time the staff made sure my drink was refilled, and that the food was to my liking. This is what service was meant to be like!
