Brass Monkey Local is a new restaurant in St. Catharines opened more than 6 months ago.
Downtown St. Catharines is our home and the community we've lived and worked in for over 15 years. We're proud to be opening a restaurant that will be a place for good food, good drinks, good music and good friends and family. Inspired by New York City bars, we hope that you'll call Brass Monkey your local community space. We are proud to be a St. Catharines vegan friendly restaurant offering a vegan option for almost every dish on our menu. We also stock a large variety of non-alcoholic beer, spirits, mocktails and wine.

When visiting my family going out to eat can be hard. I’m vegan, my grandmas picky and my mom’s cheap. If this mix sounds like your group, you’ll all have a great time. Something for everyone and decent prices. Great food!

Brass Monkey is an awesome spot! The service is good, and they manage a really busy establishment well! Great selection of drinks, alcoholic and non, super well priced meals and apps, and tasty sides to snack on! A great place to stop and catch up with friends.

The menu is simple (not too much) but has all the staples everyone can enjoy. Menu has a lot of vegan choices which is always amazing to see and the food is excellent! We have been a couple times and rach time the food was delicious! The pictures don't the food justice and the portions are definately enough for for two people. The nachos can easily feed 3 to 4 people. The beer battered cauliflower wings are different but delicious. I actually prefer these over the other cauliflower wings other places serve. I never do reviews of places but just had to leave one for Brassmonkey. Truly one of the best bars in the region! Amazing food, really cool atmosphere, great service, and their drinks are always top notch. I find myself constantly thinking about their garlic mayo sauce and wishing they were closer so I could go more often! 🖤🖤🖤

Came down here with some friends. Great atmosphere, staff most hospitable. I had the fish and chips, and let me just say it was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had. Just delicious and absolutely delightful. The fries were also very good. Top notch service and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend to stop in.
