The food is decent, slightly above average, but the prices feel way too high for what you get in terms of service, quantity, and quality. The butter with parathas is on the stingy side, and asking for a refill takes some test of patience.

Great experience overall! Ritu served us really well. Both Makki di roti and Amritsari kulcha were great!! As a punjabi saag and makki di roti is soemthing I look for in winters and I have finally found my place. Thanks!! 😊

Beautiful interiors offering variety of vegetarian dishes and thali options. We ordered the dhokla which was super delicious and moist. Dahi puri was very average and can definitely get some improvements. Thali has alot of different options to chose from. We got the potato curry, malai kofta and pakora curry with pulao rice and ras malai for dessert. Everything tasted very good, would have preferred to see atleast more than one small pakora in the kadhi. Food presentation was good. Lots of mithai options in the entrance section as well. Prices are on the expensive side. Soda pop is included with the thali but we upgraded to Cold coffee was a $3 surcharge with the thali option. Since the complex has so many restaurants, finding parking can be very challenging.

As always if you’re in GTA area and want to eat Indian food, brars is the place to go. The specialize in not Indian food. The best part is qualities is great. Furthermore, they have a lot of options for different types of delicacies which India has to offer definitely I recommend you can go to any branch.

After a long search in the plaza we have decided to go to Brar’s. Staff was accommodating in the start, not sure why by the end of our meal we were not given attention. Server has also become rude. Probably we were the last customers. Food is okay too, tastes bland. Expect for the samosa ragada chaat. Also, like I said we were only the customers during that time, we ordered for gulab jamun and Rabri at the end. It took them about 15mins to serve the dessert. Overall not a very good experience.

Brar Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience, especially if you’re a fan of authentic Punjabi cuisine. One of the standout dishes is their Sarson ka Saag paired with Makki ki Roti, which delivers a truly satisfying and fresh taste. The saag has the perfect balance of flavors, with a rich, earthy taste that is complemented by the soft, golden cornmeal roti. Together, they offer a comforting and hearty meal that leaves you feeling deeply content. What further elevates the experience at Brar is not just the food, but the incredible service. Ritu, a staff member who was particularly helpful during my visit, took the time to patiently explain how Brar maintains the freshness of its dishes, especially the sweets. She shared that they use traditional methods and high-quality ingredients, which ensures that every bite, from the saag to the sweets, feels like it was just made. The restaurant’s attention to detail and commitment to freshness really elevates your satisfaction level, making the meal more than just about taste but also about authenticity and quality. The sweets at Brar are another highlight. From classic Indian desserts like gulab jamun to more regional favorites, you can taste the care and tradition behind each one. It’s clear that they prioritize freshness in all their offerings, and the flavors reflect that commitment. I highly recommend visiting Brar if you’re looking for delicious, fresh Indian sweets and food. Whether you’re craving a traditional meal like Sarson ka Saag with Makki ki Roti, or a sweet treat to finish off your meal, Brar delivers on all fronts.

We visited twice in 2 days. We had dinner and came for the rasmalai but ended up having a 2nd dinner lol. The aloo paratha was GREAT. And the kids items, I.e. plain dosa and plain paratha was wonderful. Loved that it came with a side of a small dessert and beverage Samosa chaat was not good. Tasted like curry. Not a chaat. However chanpreet was very accommodating and made things right by switching it with something better. I appreciated her attentiveness and she was nice to chat with. She was lovely! Thank you chanpreet! You turned the experience around! Will definitely be visiting again! Another CON The coconut dip on the side for the dosa wasnt very good. I enjoy that the most normally when I have dosa but it had an odd flavour. And somewhat bitter. Which I've never tasted before. Also..I Wish they would add another ras malai piece because that's expensive for only 2 small. pieces
