We felt so very welcomed the minute we walked in. The staff are all wonderful and attentive. The food is great and portions are large. I have seen some reviews that complained about small portions and I can't imagine what they consider large. We arrived at 5:45PM on a Saturday and had no wait time. No long wait time for food to arrive or order to be taken. We had meatballs, burrata, artichokes, gnocchi and short ribs taking food home with us. One appetizer and mains would have been more than enough for 2.

My first time trying out Borgo Antico with a friend. Food was excellent and authentic (I went to Italy earlier this year and this was definitely on par). Service was terrible though. We are young adults and the server took away our wine glasses immediately without asking if we wanted a drink besides water. We were also rushed with our eating and paying the bill despite the restaurant being almost empty.

Love to support small businesses, this Family owned and operated restaurant doesn’t miss a beat. The food, drinks and service was fantastic! I went with their special feature Fagoletti (House Made Stuffed Pasta with Lobster, Shrimp and Marscarpone Tossed in a Tomato Cream With Peppercorns) it deserves to have a permanent on their menu. Also loved the Burrata and tiramisu!

Decided to check out BORGO ANTICO again in Oakville . Went on a SATURDAY at 8pm and it was truly fantastic. The service was so on point, the owner greeted us and we had a wonderful chat during dinner. The cuisine was so delicious and full of flavors. I really enjoyed this place. Definite 5 stars. Ambiance was fantastic. Was greeted warmly and seated promptly. Wasn’t too crowded. Food was so good! Biggest and juiciest mussels I’ve ever seen. They had my favourite sparkling Moscato available on the menu. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely come back.

Lovely place with large windows out front. Lovely and warm staff. Food was delicious from appetizers to dessert. Had Octopus for the first time and it was amazing. And the White was perfect for my Sea Bass... Parking on the street was free for the night, guessing that's cos it's Sunday. All in all, I'm surely going back!!

I just found a new favourite Italian restaurant. Their food and service are really amazing. We ordered a few appetizers and main dishes and I have no favourites because they’re all equally great. From appetizers to desserts to their coffee just amazing.
