Bombay's Chutney

We found the Indian food at this restaurant to be fresh, tasty and decently spiced. Naan was fresh. Curries were good. My child enjoyed the mild butter chicken, and she's picky.

I think it deserves at least a 4.3, given how nice the food was, and they also have an extremely extensive dessert collection so give this place a try.

l had a hard time finding Indian food in the Richmond Hill area, so I decided to try Bombay Chutney. I ordered the Indian vegetarian thali for $25, with an extra butter naan. The food was just okay. Charging extra for butter naan seemed odd, so I first ordered a garlic naan, which was also average. In the KWC area, I've never encountered this practice. If you're charging this much, the first naan should be a butter naan. In KWC and the GTA, you can get a better tasting buffet with many more items for around $27. Although I asked for spicy chana, it was too bland. However, the female employee quickly replaced it, which was great service, but, still, I wouldn't say I liked the taste and ended up losing my appetite. I had to pack the food and ultimately throw it away. The only things I liked were the Palak Paneer, peaceful atmosphere and the excellent service. I hope they improve.

I recently tried your restaurant for the first time through an online order. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I ordered naan bread, expecting it to be cut into 2-3 pieces as is customary, but it arrived whole, which was unexpected. Additionally, the dal makhni I ordered didn't resemble authentic makhni dal. As a first-time customer, I had hoped for a positive experience, but these aspects fell short. I believe consistency in presentation is important for customer satisfaction, even with online orders. I hope this feedback can help improve future orders.

Definitely recommend this place for a quiet dinner with family or friends! Loved the food specially paneer tikka masala and momos. Momos were really juicy and I personally loved the chutney it was tangy and spicy, really delicious. Although the service was not too good but I guess they were under staff but food was definitely amazing! Must try paneer tikka masala

Probably the best Indian food you can get in this area. Food is excellent and taste is very on point. Prices and portions are fair as well. Food does take a while to come but that’s not a big deal unless you’re in a rush. Got the vegetable samosas, lamb vindaloo, navratan korma, rice, and butter naan. Would definitely come back again when I’m craving Indian food.

Visited recently for a friend’s birthday. And they made our day , amazing food and service . Server was very friendly and kind . We had a very nice experience. Thank you so much bombays chutney . We will visit again very soon
