Honestly, my experience here was BAD. We came on a Saturday afternoon during the Christmas market season, so it was pretty busy. We put our name on an iPad, and the wait was about 45 minutes. When we were seated we had to share a table (we were a group of 5). The servers kept mixing us up, literally 10 seconds after we paid she forgot. They also charged us an automatic 20% service fee without letting us know first, no word of it at all, I found that to be dishonest. My friend and I got the tonkotsu ramen. It was so strange, the noodles were not ramen noodles at all, but Chinese flour noodles. The broth was not rich and tasted like plain bland pork broth. My friend's pork belly slices tasted like it had gone bad. Prices were also on the high end for ramen. My other friends got a salad and eel on rice. There were also only 2 washrooms so the lineup was really long. I don't recommend this spot... And my friends agreed

Right in the heart of the distillery district. Great selection of food and drinks at fair prices (slightly higher than average but that’s what you can expect at such a high traffic area). Interior is nice with kind staff and efficient service. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a spot to eat in the district.

Service was standard, no issues there. We were seated quite quickly! Ambiance was cozy and though busy, it wasn't too noisy to the point of having to yell. Food was near perfect. I think the ramen could have been slightly warmer, but the broth was rich, creamy, and flavourful nonetheless. We ordered two Christmas combos. Pictured is the black garlic ramen, takoyaki and edamame. These are not the only options you can choose for the combo. For drinks, you could choose Sapporo, Kaiun, hot tea or pop. Still going to give 5 stars!

Great atmosphere, very spacious restaurant. Admittedly the food was quite mediocre, nothing that really amazed me enough to come back again. It was quite busy at the market so this was one of the few options that was indoors to eat at. I feel like it's not worth going out of your way for. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Really good restaurant. The poke bowl was very tasty. The menu is quite simple, but there are lots of good options. Attentive and friendly service. Decent atmosphere.

Picked this place on a whim, and was blown away by the quality and flavors. Both me and my partner were surprised how much we loved the Lavender Ume fruit sake.

If the atmosphere is better than the food, i’d say, i wouldn’t come back. We got some appetizers (gyoza, karaage, calamari), and for main, black garlic ramen. I asked mine to be spicy. Appetizers were either salty or tasteless, i was expecting to be wowed by the calamari since it’s close to paying $20, but it was subpar. Same foes for gyoza, and for the karaage, it was a bit too salty for me (i tasted my girlfriend’s and it was not as salty). Ramen was neither spicy nor tasty. The chashu was probably the thinest slice of pork i’ve had. You’d expect for the price point that it would at least include an egg, but it doesn’t. On top of that, you have to pay add. $2 for it. They kept it too simple that even integrity of the food it gone. It was pretty cold when we got there, so we’re looking for something warm, but that is not it. Went to a local japanese ramen place for dinner to give ramens’ justice back. Service was okay. It wasn’t busy when we got there, but the server directed us to our seat and just left. It wasn’t as busy, but we have to wait for our orders to be taken, to be given water, and to be served our food. So in conclusion, service was pretty slow. Atmosphere was okay. Decors are pretty cool. I this they focus more on the bar area since it was pretty dim when we got there (it was just noon at that time). Remove the umbrella and it’s your typical pub.

The patio is really nice in the summer but the food is a bit lack lustre. The takoyaki was not as creamy as other places I’ve had and there was not much octopus in them. Also, the sauce on the unagi don was a bit too sweet for me.
