Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes - Scarborough

Awesome place, used to go here all the time with my friends in the summer! The pouting is great! The milkshakes are even better! The only problem is that some of the employees have a heavy accent, so I don't understand sometimes.

I was at their customers appreciation day with my family. We got chipotle, Siracha, mashroom Swiss And spicy crispy chicken burgers. All burgers have juicy and flavoured beef patty. I’m surprised that the spicy crispy chicken burger actually tastes really good! And they maintained quality with line up. Awesome job guys, keep it good work. Definitely come back and recommend everyone.

The burgers are tasty, however the wait time is ridiculous. It was not busy when we went (11:30am), but we waited 15 mins before we could place an order (there was only one group ahead of us) but the cashier was slow. And after placing the order, we waited 1/2 an hour until we got our food. I actually checked the time on the receipt once we were served - literally 33 minutes later! It was not busy at all, just very very slow service. There were a couple of construction workers who came in just after us and waited as long as we did for their food. Ended up taking their orders to go as lunch time was up. 45 mins till you get your food at a burger joint really doesn't make sense. The cashier also seemed very confused about their offerings and made mistakes on our bill. The actual restaurant is nice, spacious, and clean. Really hope they can fix their speed and hire knowledgeable staff.

The menu they offer is pretty unique. If you're craving classic western diner-style food&drinks and looking for a halal option, this is the place for you. Pictured is the chipotle beef-bacon bits signature fries. It tastes great!

Boardwalk had good service and the place is nice and clean! However, the burgers I order were tasteless and seemed undercooked. To make my experience better I thought of adding hot sauce to my burgers and I was charged 70 cents for hot sauce! Usually burger spots give hot sauce for free but here you’re charged 70 cents and on top of that the hot sauce wasn’t even hot or spicy. The food was also overpriced. I wouldn’t go here again.

Such a great experience here with the diner feel and reading on how boardwalk came to be while waiting for my order The milkshake is a must! It’s actually so good! Creamy but just the right amount of thickness that you can still drink it easily through a straw The burger I got was part of the daily special which I believe is the cheeseburger and so good! The burger was nicely cooked and combined so nice with the rest of the ingredients and bun The diner style feel of the spot really went well with the them of being on a boardwalk with all the wood tables Definitely give this spot a check out! Great job overall!

We tried the Boardwalk with a couple of friends. Overall, the vibe was nice. The burgers were really good and had a generous amount of cheese and other contents. However we had some coupons which was supposed to be valid till August and they didn't accept it. The reason we chose to go and try there was because of the coupons. So that was disappointing and felt like a scam. Everything else was good. Hope to try again.
