Bluffs Bistro

My wife and I went there for a nice dinner out, we were disappointed in both the service and the food. The mushroom fettuccini was overcooked and sorta bland. The roasted beets salad was als also overcooked and the lettuce not as fresh as it should be. I think they were short staffed the night we went, as I think our server was in the kitchen assisting cooking as well, so took forever to order and get food, also simple things like salt and pepper were nowhere to be found. On a side note this place does not have a liquor licence, so if you would like a beer or wine with your meal forget about it. Was hoping for much better.

We had a lovely chicken parmesan with a nice penne. The sauce for the penne was a delicious cherry tomato sauce which tasted like sweetness from the tomatoes not added sugar. Very nice and hearty. Also had a hearty spaghetti and meatballs and a gnocchi with meat sauce (which cost extra but worth it if you don't want the cream sauce). Left with plenty of leftovers for another meal. Service was lovely, attentive without being intrusive. The patio is nice for eating outside but is near Kingston so there's a bit more road noise. Been here twice. We will definitely be going back.

We went to Bluffs Bistro today as a wedding party. We had the best experience and the food was amazing! The prices were overall very reasonable and portion sizes were great. They gave my sister (the bride) a complimentary meal and dessert as a congratulatory gift for her upcoming wedding tomorrow. The server was very attentive and the chef even came out to greet us personally and offer more bread. We will definitely be returning and highly suggest trying the vodka pasta and the fettuccine!

My Son and I recently had a number of scrumptious appetizers at Bluff's Bistro following an afternoon shopping in the area! Our meals included amazing bruschetta that was chock full of delicious tomatoes, herbs, spices and rich olive oil! The mussels and calamari were exquisite! Thank you for a truly delightful gastromic adventure!

The salmon was delicious and it came with mashed potatoes and veggies on the side. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The coffee machine was broken. The Penn Pesto Polo was done very well. The cook mentioned that it's all made halal (with an option to remove wine); the Parmesan sauce in that pasta was amazing and the quantity was generous. There is one bathroom downstairs relatively clean. They do offer some desserts but... I'll tell you about it next time :)

On a trip to Toronto, we opted to stay just outside of the city. Looking to have a quality dinner we found this gem. In speaking with the staff and owner we found out that it is recently opened and we're just blown away with the quality of the food. We ordered an appetizer, pastas and a house special of the evening. Everything was fresh, cooked to order and anchoring this was the attention of the staff. The service industry has had its moments and recently we have all experienced dips because of post-pandemic realities. It was such a joy to receive friendly quality service that was not forced. We went in as a family and really appreciated what Bluffs Bistro had to offer. We're not locals but we would highly recommend this place to those who live here and those who are passing through.

I came here with my family and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere and service were great. We ordered the calamari, bruschetta, salmon risotto, ossobuco, chicken piccata and salmon entre. It’s been a while since we've been happy with every dish we’ve gotten at a restaurant but Bluffs Bistro did not disappoint! Everything tasted delicious and authentic. Would definitely recommend anyone to try this Scarborough gem out!

Me and my girlfriend came here tonight around closing time. We were planning on taking the food to go since they would be closing soon. They insisted that we sat down. The food was amazing! Definitely one of the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time! They have only been opened for two weeks but they were very organized.
