Bluebird Café & Grill

Brought my wife here for her birthday. It was hands down the best veal Parmesan and strip loin we’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this establishment enough. The staff is warm and welcoming and the building is beautiful. Worth every dollar you spend here !!!!

On my way to Huron lake had a craving for some good pasta and pizza. Then found this cute and instagram inspired cafe so just went for it . And my oh my it was totally worth the buck. The hospitality was top notch big round of applause for their dedication and the attention to detail loved it and they take care of each person on the restaurant. Coming to the food it was fresh and cooked to perfection.will give 5 star for both the pasta and pizza dish. Will definitely return again for people and the food there.

First time going to this place, I heard may good things about this place from friends! First of all please make RESERVATIONS, we were lucky to get a seat at the bar, but the place was booked & they turned away so MANY people! For being totally booked the food was fast, hot & so delicious with the flavors! The owners were very nice & he complemented the amazing cooks for there exceptional talent in the kitchen! So looking forward to go there again!❤️

First of all, sorry for forgetting to take pictures off every meal we had, l guess we were hungry and excited :) We had day's special pizza for share it was one of the best pizza l have ever had. Crusty, tasty wood oven baked. Definitely try!! Meal you see in my pics is chicken breast with veggies. I forgot the name off dressing l went for, but it was fabulous. Other 3 people at the table ordered different kinds off pasta. They all loved it. Bluebird has great selection of drinks as well. Because of l was chosen to be designated driver, l had their mocktail beverages. I tried 3 different mix drinks and all were so good. The one on the picture is nonalcoholic mojito. It was little sweet for me, my partner loved it. Our server was super sweet and helpful. All of the staff so welcoming. Manager of the place goes around the tables and thanks for choosing them also asks for if you have any questions or suggestions. I simply love this place. We will definitely go back!

A very nice surprise in the heart of Orangeville! The restaurant was busy on a weekday for lunch, glad we reserved the table ahead of time!! Food was excellent, portion was very generous, best of all our server was the best I haven’t seen for a long time. Despite the restaurant was really busy, she checked on us a few times to make sure we are good and spent time to talk to us like we are her old customers. We told her that we came all the way from Toronto and she brought us a piece of cheesecake at the end of our meal and said we can’t go home without trying their famous cheesecake! She was right, it was delicious!!

I've lived in Orangeville for pretty much my whole life, but I'd never been to the Bluebird. I've tried most of the pizza in town, and have been meaning to try the pizza here, but never did. Well, I made the choice to come in on my birthday last month, and I can see why this place is always busy. The staff was nice, the food came out quickly considering how busy it was, and it tasted great. The pizza was a great size, it tasted very fresh, and the crust was light but crispy. Zero flop! My Mom joined me and she had the special salad of the day. She also had never been here and she enjoyed it. She really liked the goat cheese! If you've never been here and are planning an outing, definitely make a reservation at the Bluebird!

On short notice, Bluebird staff were able to accommodate a reservation for 2. When we arrived, the table’s previous diners hadn’t yet departed. The bartender, Samantha, was very hospitable and welcoming, greeting us and inviting us to take a seat at the bar while waiting. She was quite possibly the most personable staff we’ve encountered in the service industry. Despite being quite busy, she chatted with us and kept us entertained while we waited. Our waiter was quite personable as well and did a good job taking care of us. We noticed the tables nearest us had what appeared to be bread baskets, though we were not offered any, unfortunately (by the time we noticed, we figured our dinner would be arriving soon). As can happen in the service industry, there was some kind of mishap with our order and our meals took far longer than expected. It was quite a lengthy wait overall, which is the reason for the 4-star review instead of the 5 (reservation was for 8 and we were served our meals at 9:30 pm). The way the server handled the situation brought what could have been a negative experience back to a very enjoyable evening. Once the error was realized, he immediately came to discuss it with us and offered options as a way to make amends. His care and approach in handling the matter was appreciated. I would suggest, however, that staff be coached that in similar situations, a salad, bread, or something equally quick to bring out be offered. Our meals were delicious, generously portioned and very reasonably priced. (I’ve eaten far more expensive meals at franchises which dare not comparable in quality.) The quantity of vegetables with the cream sauce dish was far more generous than expected. The drinks (beer and two different cocktails), were very good. Their beverage options were varied, including a number of “Rated E for Everyone” options. As we were leaving, Samantha asked us how our dinner had been, addressing us by name. Rick remembered us the next morning when we stopped by to ask Samantha’s name. Overall, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for the hospitality and care in the preparation of your food and beverages.

We went here on a recommendation and were happy we did, the spinach and blue cheese salad was delicious along with the French onion soup, both highly recommended. As for the mains the wife got the 8oz sirloin which was excellent but the veggies were a little too salty. I had the angel hair pasta with Jurassic shrimp. The shrimp were delicious and large but the pasta was lacking flavour and due to the cheese they use it was really oily. Overall this place is nice and will be back to try different items
