Came here with my wife and children for the first time. We were looking for somewhere else new in the area to try and came across this restaurant. To start this place truly needs some work not sure how new they are but the walls still have boards up like there is renovation going on the tables are stained and sticky which we worked around. The server brought us utensils that were basically rusty, the knives. Then the food came out and the I must say the portion sizes were more than expected which was nice, but the amount of salt in the dishes was way too much. Truthfully the food was nothing special as we have had better Chinese Hakka food. My reason for writing this review is the big kicker, while eating our food there was a rat under our table!! When my daughter got up it ran between these boards maybe to the next table or in the wall, this just leaves me to ask how clean is this place and how are they keeping their back where our food is being prepared. Big disappointment to the management.

My family and I recently dined at this restaurant and did not enjoy the food or the atmosphere. First impression, It's very small and dingy, compared to the website. The pepper shrimp and the pepper seafood was bland, and was not peppery what so ever. Everything that is fried is extremely oily and greasy. The crab meat is imitation and breaded, so when it's fried, it absorb a tremendous amount of oil so it tasted dreadful. I always enjoyed Hakka Chinese food, but this place possibly turned me off forever. I would not recommend this restaurant because if you know good Hakka food, this restaurant may turn you off as it did me.

Food here is decent have been coming back time and time since it got switched over to Blue Colada. However myself and my family might not be returning as the server I believe she is new and has no form of customer service she wasn’t very friendly and I don’t appreciate her touching my drink after taking money. This place is not the same what happened to the other servers it would have been nice to see them again. The management should keep in mind who you hire represents your company as a word of advice.

Came here for dinner after my son’s soccer game and was very happy about it. The restaurant was clean and staff were welcoming and friendly. I also love the menu selection. We will be back for sure!

Excellent Carribean Hakka cuisine. Lighter on the pocket. Service was excellent

Hands down some of the best Guyanese chinese food I've ever had. Amazing flavours, good quality, and excellent value! We ordered a range of dishes and everything was delicious. Our favourite and and absolute must order here is the cut-up chicken. Crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoned to perfection, its definitely the best Guyanese chinese fried chicken I've had. Chow mein and fried rice are also top notch, and even the curry goat was excellent, which I normally wouldn't expect outside of a roti shop. The pepper shrimp and chicken, while still tastey, was a bit too oily and our least favourite. Still great cutters but I'd probably go to another spot to fill that craving. Service is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall value is honestly unbeatable - very reasonably priced, massive portions, and quality of ingredients is excellent. Definitely a top choice and now a go-to for my family, not only Guyanese chinese food, but west Indian food in general. Highly, highly recommend!

Heard about a West Indian restaurant opening up in heartland and I had to give it a try. First off it’s a bit odd that they do lunch specials on every day except Friday & Saturday. I get Saturday but Friday is typically the most popular day for people to get takeout for lunch… anyways, decided to order their pepper shrimp fried rice and their wings. The pepper shrimp fried rice was pretty good the shrimp had good flavour same with the rice. I may have liked a little bit more heat with the shrimp but it was still tasty and battered perfectly. The wings were good also - I’ll deff be swinging by again to try other dishes and maybe during the week to try a lunch special!

I love this place! The manager was great and the food was amazing. We were greeted the second we came in and shown how to order. When I ordered a gin and tonic, the manager told me that they had no tonic but will go out and get some for me even after I said that's okay and didn't mind picking something else. The soft shell crab was amazing and we had some shrimp that was delicious too! It's a fun place to go if you want to relax, get messy and have a good laugh with someone. We will definitely be trying everything on their menu!
