We cam here on Boxing Day for dinner. Friendly free coat service when we got there along with a welcome cocktail like drink. The prime rib was great. They were a bit short on vegetables. Only carrots available. Everyone liked their steaks. The mushroom side was very tart but the restaurant kindly removed it off our bill. Looking forward to trying their other cuts.

Our experience at Black and Blue was simply amazing. All of the staff, starting from the front of the house to the wait staff, everyone was so attentive and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the crab cake and the B + B brioche. The crab cake was so light and fresh and the bread was the softest and most buttery bread I have ever had. The steaks were cooked to perfection and had so much flavor. The truffle fries were also decadent. I wish we had room for dessert but we were all too full. hopefully next time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're not familiar with the area, it can be a little tricky to find. I went for a birthday dinner with a friend of mine, and we were seated promptly and brought a Welcome Cocktail, which was a lovely touch. The place was very busy but the vibe was very relaxed. The food was absolutely out of this world. Sunday is their Prime Rib Day, and it was absolutely fantastic. The butter cake that comes with the meal was the best dessert bite I've had in a very long time. It's not big, but it's very rich and very flavourful, with Chantilly cream and creme anglaise. Everything was a spot on, and we had a delicious time. I would absolutely consider going here again and recommending it for you and your loved ones. Considering this place is in the financial district, their Sunday Prime Rib special was completely reasonable and worth every single penny. $69.99 for 3 very generous courses? GO!!! Our server was Dawn, and she was super attentive but not intrusive. She was lovely. Clearly, she was busy, but she didn't make anything seem difficult. I will definitely be going here again.

We had an amazing dinner at Black & Blue. Our server Kyle was the best. We were seated out on the patio area (it was cold) and he asked if we were cold and when we said yes he had a portable heater brought over. He is a great conversationalist. Loved seeing him make the actual Caesar salad dressing in the bowl then add in the romaine lettuce. And it was the best salad I’ve had in a long time. I would love the recipe! We had Caesar salad and prime rib. So delicious. I loved the sides of horseradish and mustard seed and salt. It made the food even better. And the butter cake was sooo delicious! The only star marked off was for the patio being cold. But Kyle helped out with that issue. Also note that the washrooms were upstairs. Not sure if there is an elevator or not. Casual dinner with friend before to watch the comedy show. The server Kyle is amazing. He is very detail-oriented and funny. The salad and butter cake are super good. The mushroom risotto is a bit salty. Portion is good. Will definitely come by again.

Reservation is recommended for this establishment. We sat on the patio area. Happy hour menu has lots of options. This is a more expensive restaurant. The food is high quality and fresh. Service is good. You'll have a main waiter but everyone works together to serve all tables. Atmosphere is really nice. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because I feel like patio area was cold as the heater was not consistently on during this cold night. The lighting was also kind of dark, I get it's part of their theme but a tiny bit more light would be nice to see everything clearly.

Been here a few times for celebrations or lunch, the service is top notch quality and is one of the reasons I go back. Clement, is really knowledgeable about the selections of food and wine that are offered always makes it easier for me decide since the menu is so vast. The vibe is meant more for dinner and it is very expensive so if you want to try it out I’d recommend maybe going at happy hour, as it’s very reasonable. Food is great as expected for the price, you have many options of different kinds of meats and fish. The menu items are meant to share with your table which is definitely the best way to go when dining here.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Black+Blue Toronto with friends and family, and it was an unforgettable experience. We were impressed with the attentive service; the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, even helping us with recommendations and thoughtful wine pairings. The food was outstanding—our group enjoyed a range of premium steaks and fresh seafood, each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. The sides, especially the truffle mashed potatoes, were the perfect complement. It was a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of food, service, and atmosphere made it well worth it. Black+Blue Toronto is definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special event with loved ones.
