Birdies Fried Chicken

Wow! Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in years. It’s quite a large sandwich that I struggle trying to finish. I usually buy a combo because they got the best fries (but I can literally eat this as 2 meals.) This is one of my go-to chicken places. ❤️

One of the best fried child chicken burgers in town!!!! Tried Nashville fired burger which was full of flavors and spices loved it!! And shout out to their employee on the front counter she is really sweet:)

Best Nashville-Style Chicken in Toronto! This place is seriously unmatched! Every time I go, it’s like a flavor explosion that always hits just right. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and perfectly spiced – you can tell they put real love into every piece! And the staff? They’re the friendliest, most welcoming crew you’ll meet. I always leave with a full stomach and a huge smile. If you’re in Toronto and craving Nashville heat, this spot has to be on your list!

This store deserves every one of these five stars! The chicken is perfectly crispy, juicy and packed with flavor. Nashville hot chicken sandwich and hot poutine is my favorite. The service is friendly and welcoming, making for an overall fantastic. Highly recommend!

This review is for delivery of Birdies Fried Chicken so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere. People have raved about Birdies and have told me to try their food for a long time now. I finally decided to give it a go, feeling a tad adventurous. Featured in the images are their: OG FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH COMBO that came with fries and a 5PC CHICKEN TENDERS COMBO. We opted for a regular poutine, honey mustard dipping sauce for the chicken tenders and we did original chicken (ie. not spicy). I'll be honest, the food tasted great. The chicken was moist and flavourful. The sandwich bun was soft and had just the right amount of toppings to not overpower the chicken. The fries were great - fresh cut on the thicker side. They stood up well on their own or fully drenched in the poutine. I am not a fan of dry poutine so was pleasantly surprised that they were generous with the gravy. Perhaps my only caution is that the chicken tenders are on the smaller side. The 5 pieces would likely satisfy a child but may not be enough for an adult unless they were eating something else too so thank goodness it came with the poutine! Overall, satisfied with our Birdies meal and might just go back to try out some of their other menu items.

This place has super hefty chicken sandwiches. On sheer size alone it beats out on every other chicken place in toronto. The chicken had a crispy fry all around and was matched well with the sauce, and pricing was decent for the amount that they give you. If you’re looking to sit and eat it’s not that kind of restaurant so you might be better off taking your food to go or waiting for the three seats at the window bar to clear up. The fries were pretty plain but you can ask for the hot fries and those have a good spice to them. Regardless its a good burger and well worth the money.
