Bingz Crispy Burger Yorkdale

It was quick. Stuff for order was friendly. Chinese food but not even one Chinese stuff or East Asian….. haha. Anyways……. It was a pity no Matcha smoothie.

Had the classic pork burger and the spicy fries at the Yorkdale location. Fries were good I guess but not fantastic. The burger pastry was excellent, flaky and delicious. The pork was good too and there was a good portion of meat but overall the burger was just incredibly bland. It needed some spicy sauce like a chili oil, perhaps some Pickled vegetables or other toppings. After a few bites I was bored of the meal and definitely wouldn't order it again.

I really enjoyed the smoking Hot Rocking Fries 🍟 especially the chilli power is my favourite like Mala taste. And also Matcha Cloud milkshake make it perfect. Recommend to try this.

The crispy burger was good at first. Tried the classic one with pork. It’s really full of pork and when I eat through it, the greasiness build up. And u definitely need a soda or something sour to cut through it. Unfortunately I chose to try the hot and sour soup which is full of oil and salt. The saltiness is unbearable. I couldn’t finish it. Burger is worth trying but not the soup.

Crispy Burger is delicious. The fillings could be better or juicier though. Bread itself is super flaky. Make sure you eat it sitting down as the flakes fall everywhere. Dumplings in chili oil are awesome. It’s really flavorful and not too spicy. Chicken is halal.

Tried the signature combo: crispy beef burger, (Roujiamo or rougamo) and Shake shake spicy fries. Roujiamo or rougamo is a street food originating from Shanxi province China. I find that the burger is bit pricey. The burger bun is flaky and crispy but is quite greasy. The taste of the slow cooked beef brisket stuffed inside the bun is bland and favorless. However the soft meat texture is unexpectedly pleasing. It can be quite messy to eat this crispy bun. Flakes and meat pieces are falling like snow flakes onto the table. The fries are fresh and crispy (I enjoyed eating the crispy fries more than the crispy burger!) Be careful not to pour in the spicy powder all at once. I carelessly poured in all the powder into the shake shake bag, wow! my goodness, my mouth is on fire. Finally I must say I have fulfilled my curiosity of trying a crispy Chinese burger: It is a bit pricy for the amount of meat you get. If it can let people know more about the history of its origins (Roujiamo) then it is not exactly classified as a burger. If one is curious about what a Chinese burger is then it is worthwhile to try it once.

Food is fairly good. Unfortunately, the services need to get improved. Date &Time: Aug 2nd, 2023, around 5pm, @Yorkdale food court-Bingzi. Order number: 2285 I order three cold noodle, one with sesame and two with chili sorce. When I sat down and found out they packaged with three chili sources, so I asked my teens to get a sesame source. My son brought back a spicy chili sauce he wanted to exchange for sesame sauce. During his first visit, the staff told him he needed to present the receipt for verification before they could give him the sesame sauce. When my son went again for the second time with the receipt, the staff claimed they already packed the sesame sauce in the take-out bag, so they could NOT give him another one. Despite explaining that they gave him the wrong sauce, the front desk staff refused to help, leaving him disappointed and stuck with the chili sauce for his cold noodles. It's just a sauce, and I don't understand why it had to be so complicated, lacking basic customer respect. I'm very disappointed.

Came during the soft opening at around 5:30 which one would expect to be slightly busy. Took 15 minutes to get to the front to place an order and took a further 15 minutes to even get our food. Definitely wouldn't recommend coming the soft opening but they are handing out coupons for $1 during the 17th-23rd so a heads up for people coming in the next few days that lines will probably be even longer. After waiting over 30 minutes to get the food, the burgers were crispy and tasted really good! Each of the burgers were flavorful and packed with ingredients. Each item is individually labeled on the packaging so you know which burger is which if you order multiple. Just a word of caution, some of the items like the BBQ mushroom and child noodles are spicy (no chili warnings!). Despite the wait and difficulty getting seats, everything was still warm and not soggy. The cold noodles were done well with a slight hit of spice but a great texture. The red date soy milk (which I paid full price for so it's totally unbiased for the review) was sweet but not overly sweet, a good touch to the side. Lastly, as my picture suggests, a lot of the reviews for 5-star are because of the free drink promo so take that as you will :)
