BHK Roll - Biryani House Original Kathi Roll - By Chef Debu

I came here for lunch on Monday. Good service. Pretty sure the food is cooked fresh so expect a wait for a meat Kathi roll. I ordered the lamb Kathi roll which tasted great. Excited to try the other rolls.

"I was looking for dinner one night and found BHK Roll Biryani House still open, but they only had Hyderabadi Biryani left. The owner assured me it was authentic and even offered a last-order discount, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this biryani was nothing like what it should be. Biryani is meant to be flavorful, full of spices, and vibrant, but this was bland and tasteless. The portion was also disappointing – just one big chicken leg with a few potatoes and very little rice. Definitely not worth the price I paid. I had heard a lot about this place, but my experience was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it."

I’ve been here multiple times, and every visit has been fantastic. The Chicken Biryani is a must-try, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the chef is truly remarkable—you can see his passion for creating amazing food in every dish.

This is truly Taste of India. The best roll one can have in downtown Toronto. We had chicken Kabob roll and paneer tikka roll.

BHK roll has great food and service. Love their Kathi rolls. Wholesome and great portions. Tried the lamb and paneer Tikka, it was amazing.

Just visited this spot had the chicken roll. Chef Dhondup made an amazing dinner roll for me. This a mist visit place. Lol will come back tomorrow 8/2 Just had dinner here again at this spot. I ordered the chicken keema kaleji with paratha and Limca drink. The vist did not disappoint. This was a crazy delicious meal. The other taller Chef prepared the food this time and he made it finger licking good!!

Well, this is probably the worst meal I've had in a while. I ordered the stewed lamb trotters nihari, and it came with such a thick layer of oil that I could not help but skim it off (probably 250ml I removed). The "house made parathas" must have been made on Friday (I ordered on Sunday), because they were so hard that my jaw got tied and they don't even flex while waving them around in the air. Really disappointing for a restaurant with this kind of hype.

I cannot say much but having one dish I can say this place is a hit. And I’m happy since it’s very near to my house in downtown Toronto. A new place discovered in college park food court, I randomly ordered samosa on way back home and boom I just lived it. Next day me and my husband went again n ordered chai samosa. Both were super hit. Now I’m waiting to try their Kathi roll and Biriyani. I’m a Bengali from Kolkata India , and I crave Indian snacks always as we are people who love to eat. And getting a good Indian restaurant/food joint in downtown is a task. And I found this gem. Hopefully this standard remains like this. Wish to go there soon.
