A lovely restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere. The chicken piccata was truly delicious and the creamy sauce with the perfect amount of lemon zing was addictive 🤤. The chef and server were both very friendly and I'm glad I got to eat there before heading back to NY.

My husband and I spent the night at a harvest host location with our RV and decided to go out for dinner. This was the most amazing experience and gem restaurant. The food was phenomenal and well prepared and presented. Thumbs way up from us northern Ontario folks.

We were spending some family time at a cabin nearby, and want to dine out for dinner. Literally just searched on Google map and visited the best rates resto but this place really blew our mind !!! It’s SO GOOD 🥹 Tuna tartare is refreshing with a lemon+wasabi taste and we loved it so much that we almost got a second dish 😂 Skirt steak was also our fav!! We also got Baba Ganoush and Fettuccine and they all amazed us. Highly recommend! . Instruction for getting inside: when you see the gate, don’t hesitate to go in, walk couple few steps and there’s a second door. (Literally, beyond the gate). Will visit again 🥹

A lovely quaint restaurant with outstanding food. I consider myself a foodie and it takes a lot to impress me. Every course was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I had the tomato and goat cheese tart as well as the beef tenderloin which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had delicious crispy shaved Brussels sprouts accompanying it. My husband had the tuna tartar and the St. Jaques (scallops) he say he would order the scallops again in a heartbeat. We shared the butter tart crepe for dessert. I love a good butter tart but often find the filling too sweet. This filling was well balanced and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef stopped us on our way out to check how our meal was and was so friendly. More people need to discover this restaurant!

Absolutely a delight. Well worth the wait. Serve was wonderful and cook was so helpful with one of us who had a diet restrictions due to health issues. The chef listen to the restrictions and created a separate sauce to help so to make the meal more enjoyable for us. The food was incredibly. Very good French food. Go asap as the chef is selling the business and I’m sure the food quality won’t be the same as it’s hard to cook like this.

Unbelievable very authentic true blue French cooking was well worth the visit. Very friendly and very helpful as 1 in our group had food restrictions due to health issues. Sadly the owner is selling this restaurant and without the cook it just won’t be the same. But for now while he’s still there it’s well worth the visit.

I haven’t been to Shelburne to dine since before the Lockdowns and boy do I regret it. My tastebuds will hold this grudge against me for a long time. Brunch was amazing. I had to try many dishes! I ordered the special appetizer as suggested by my lovely server, Jenna, the cheese terrine made with Oka and Raclette and drizzled with a reduced Balsamic. Light, luxurious and delicious. You can also tell how much the chef cares about the quality of everything he sets in front of each guest by how fresh and crisp his side salad is. The arugula was the freshest I’ve ever had and the dressing was beautiful. I asked if Chef Freddy had foie gras today. He did! The potatoes were transformed into delicate layers for the foie gras galette the foie was seared and underneath and the dish was drizzled with a port wine reduction. I cannot believe that Chef can prepare this on the fly for a hungry foodie! The Croque Monsieur was lovely too and the perfect sized serving. Gorgeous Bechamél, quality shaved ham and that beautiful bread and Swiss cheese! Again, the arugula was fresh and perfect. Chef’s crepes made him famous when he attended the Orangeville Farmer’s Market. so I had to order one. I chose the Chocolate Monkey crepe. C’est Bon!!! At the end of my incredible lunch, Chef brought over what he will be preparing for his guests tonight and I’m tempted to cancel our reservation for tonight at another great establishment! He showed me the highly graded Wagyu steak. Let you know if we devour a couple of these tonight!
