On vacation in Toronto. With some friends at 10pm and needed a quick bite to eat. Impromptu visit to Belly Buster was just what we needed. My friend got the Super Stack and I ordered the Ham. We loved every bite. Mathias, our server, was awesome. He was polite, friendly, and you did a fantastic job keeping the place clean, organized, and presentable despite working completely alone. Food & service was so good we had to buy a few cookies on our way out. Soft, chewy, chocolate chip cookies which I am eating as I type this. Keep up the great work, Mathias!

All around low quality. Cheapest ingredients they could find. Things seemed fresh and not dangerous to consume. Customer service was okay. The food isn’t worth consideration. The beef for the steak sub just floats in water or something all day and has little flavour and is only moist because it sits in water. The cold cuts were flavourless and cheap. It still how I’d imagine a prison sandwich to be made.

Move over Subway and Mr. Sub - Belly Buster’s here! Super fresh bread and toppings. Neatly put together. Very flavourful. Basic with no frills - just classic combinations. It is truly our favourite sub spot in the city. We mainly order from Uber eats and it travels very, very well also! Our go-to is the Turkey bacon sub. With quite a few locations around the city, there’s no reason to go anywhere else for submarines!

The first time we went here, was in-person. The subs were excellent and we were in heaven!! We Alger tried ordering them through doordash and we’re very disappointed. They ignored our notes and the subs were underwhelming.

Ordered the Super Assorted which doubles the meat and cheese. As someone wrote in an earlier review it is very much like Mr Sub which I agree but certainly a notch up. The vegetable toppings we very fresh; for example, the tomatoes were nice and ripe. My current benchmark for an assorted / Italian sub is Goody's in Burlington. This doesn't quite get there hence 1 star deduction. Nevertheless still a good classic sub and I would definitely return. Excellent staff too.

Ordered a classic ham sub (pictured is the small) with standard toppings and including sub sauce. It's interesting, as this sub is pretty close to the same at Mr Sub. Buns cut the same, shredded lettuce, same order of ingredients on the bun. I cannot speak for the other items in the menu but what I had was a carbon copy of what I normally get elsewhere. Of note, the bun was fresh but just not that out of the oven softness. Probably over baked for a brand new location. I would go back for value and familiarity but I might not search out on a full time basis. Clean, friendly, organized, and decent price.

I used to eat at the king west location years ago so I was super excited to hear Belly busters was opening up in our neighbourhood. The Leslieville location does not disappoint. Hands down the best place to grab a classic sub sandwich in Toronto. The staff is also super friendly and the restaurant is incredibly clean. Will be visiting here often. Highly recommend.
