Beertown Public House Barrie

Joey was our server the other day, with our two small children and was an absolute gem!! He went out of his way to make sure our children were happy at all times, and we had everything we needed. The food was incredible and we will certainly be back. Make sure to ask for Joey as your server, he was the best - extra pickles for all!!

Food here is really good! The spinach dip was the best thing we ordered. Fried chicken was okay, it was a little tough. Service was good overall. They have a large patio and lots of parking available at the back of the restaurant

The food is actually unmatched. It’s my favourite. I love it. The sauces, the chicken, the salad, the DRINKS !!! There is nothing better than the muddled berry lemonade!! Luke was our server and he was amazing. Couldn’t fault a thing. So kind, helpful and just amazing. I’ll be back tomorrow lol

Dropped in to the Barrie location due to the plant based menu. Great vibe. Dog friendly patio. Indoor/outdoor patio. As with other locations great variety of beer and other beverages. Good menu. Had the Pad Thai, was an interesting take not the best would pass on that next time. Companion had the vegan burger. Enjoyed.

UPDATE: the manager reached out to me and apologized for the mishap of my taco dropping and offered me a full fish taco main to make up for it. Customer service here is top tier and I greatly appreciated their offer! Came here for the first time and really enjoyed my meal and drinks. We got guac and chips for a starter which was tasty. I ordered fish tacos as my main and really liked them, I was looking forward to bringing them home but one of the waitresses was trying to clear the patio and remove the umbrella from our table so I scooted over so my friend could give the woman room and I ended up knocking my takeout container on the ground because the table hadn’t been cleared and I had it sitting beside me on the bench.

Food and drinks are always good. Service is friendly. Tried their old fashioned, the southern fried chicken and the beertown big burger. The old fashions were great. The burger was stacked with 2 patties, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickles with a sesame bun. The bun fell apart halfway through eating it, but otherwise very good burger. The fried chicken was my favourite, it was so crispy and well seasoned. The fried chicken was delicious. The dill ranch and Carolina mustard sauces were so tasty. The cider slaw and dill pickle potato salad complemented the fried chicken perfectly. Staff were all friendly, service was great. Would recommend!

Always a great place to stop in to on our way through Barrie. Food is always good, and the service is friendly. Everyone can find something they enjoy. Nice spot, nice vibe and fair prices. Pad Thai is really good for gastropub style! They also have brunch which I didn’t realize as we went on a Sunday for lunch.

Stopped by on our way up north. Very convenient location by 400. Nicely decorated interior, just wish they had more booth seating like classic pubs. The seatings are too open for my liking. Food is good and fresh. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had brisket burger, fries, sweet potato wedges and coleslaw. Portion is really big. Both coleslaw and fries are on the light side which is healthy for pub food. I would prefer classic sweet potato fries to wedges. It was crispy on the outside but too chunky, just wasn’t my style. Overall a nice twist on classic pub food, not the old school burger and fries. Beer selection was really good. Price is reasonable. Would be a nice spot to visit again in the summer.
