Baro

We spent our new year’s eve in Baro which brought the flavors of Latin America into life. I liked the Beef Barbacoa most but the rest are also the best. We finished with the Churros dipped in salted dulce de leche and it was amazing!

Second time here, but for a work party and they did a fantastic job. From the extensive menu to the service. Baro truly did a great job and I will definitely be coming back.

An absolute gem! Vibrant atmosphere and stylish decor set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is nothing short of spectacular—every dish bursts with authentic Latin flavors and is beautifully presented. The cocktails are expertly crafted and pair wonderfully with the menu. The staff are attentive, friendly, and make you feel right at home.

Let me start with the things I love about Baro: Love the receptionist at the lobby during our visit. She was so nice and even greeted me Happy Birthday! Love also that Baro allowed me to bring my dog. And of course the food — the lobster eggs benedict is amazing!! However, I didn’t like that they sat us at the entrance, where we can see everyone walk in. The 3 ladies beside us were so close that we can literally hear their conversations. It’s so distracting when all I wanted was a quiet birthday brunch. It’s as if we’re on the same table as them. Baro tries to squeeze so many people without considering the private/intimate dining experience. The woman who took our order and served us that day is also not that friendly. We had some questions but she didn’t have the patience to answer them. Ruined the experience for us. Cost is higher than normal brunch places, staff should have made up for that premium with good customer experience but the server was so terrible at it.

Arrived at 11PM for drinks on a weekend, luckily the kitchen was still open. Great vibes and food was good. The presentation of the cocktails was unique. Will come back for the rooftop patio next time

Good spot for delicious bites and great company! 🔥 The grill platter was a special on their menu—definitely a must-try for anyone who loves a good mix of flavors and textures. My favorite? Hands down the empanada—it legit tastes like a Big Mac in the best way possible. And of course, we couldn’t leave without indulging in the churros! Every dish was a hit from start to finish. It's in the pricier side but the taste of the food and drinks makes up for it.

Very beautiful atmosphere, a little small but I really like what they did with the space. The food was amazing my favourite was the ceviche and the churros. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience even better. Would definitely consider coming back here.

Excellent service! I held my spouse’s milestone birthday here at The Loft. Alana Shields (event/hospitality coordinator) was exceptional at prepping event and communicating with me. Zack was excellent on the evening and totally in command of the employees. He frequently checked in with updates. The food was phenomenal... the guests were all happy including vegan and vegetarian guests. There was a small army of professional servers and bar tenders to attend to the guests. There are 5 washrooms in the hall, and there is an elevator with wheelchair accessibility. Overall this is a wonderful event space. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much!! It made for a memorable evening.
