Bara's Hut Roti and Doubles

I rarely have a craving for a roti. But every now and then I do and I am on the lookout for a place that serves up good and honest food. The service here is easily 5 stars ⭐️. For a first timer, the service was friendly and helpful. This is a local business run by hard working owners. I have to start off with their portions. The chicken curry with paratha 🫓 was beyond generous… the portion is monstrous. You get your moneys worth here and then some. You better be hungry 🤤. The doubles were bloody huge too !!! The chicken curry roti on Dhalpuri was enjoyable. The flavour was light but still hit the mark. The spice kicks in after a few bites. My chicken curry paratha 🫓 was the same. The paratha and the chicken curry was packed up separately which was a pleasant surprise because I have never had it served in this manner. Worst Curry Goat Experience Ever. Waste of $18.00 Soggy wet rice. Extremely fatty goat meat. 5 members of the family turned it down. So we had to throw it out. For the cost of this experience. I'd never give them an opportunity to do better.

First time trying doubles here - came based on other reviews. Gentleman at the counter was really nice, food came quickly. we got regular double and goat double both spicy, they were delicious!! Good amount of meat and good value- will be back! Thank you so much!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the curry goat with dahlpuri roti, 2 regular doubles, 1 meat doubles and the pholouie. Everything was delicious nice flavour and spices. The chicken meat doubles was abit spicy but tolerable. Portions were big I’ve got plenty of leftovers. The place is small and can get a little crowded but definitely worth coming back to try the other dishes

Monster portions and amazing taste. Once you come you’re hooked. Price was also very very good! I recommend this place 1000times over. Best experience I’ve had in a long time. I got the Channa and potato roti and man it was amazing. Couldn’t finish it. Saved for later!

Amazing food, lovely people. One of the best doubles I've ever had. Love the mashed potato in the curry! Roti was steaming hot, just perfect. I miss living in Mississauga for this reason! Thank you for my happy belly! See you next time I'm in town. 😁

All I gotta say is Bara's has great goat doubles. I had their chicken Pelau. I was very satisfied with it. I need more of it in my life. Even better with their pepper sauce. Check it out.
