Fantastic experience. The staff is very friendly and passionate about the food. Every dish was top notch. No complaints. A great spot for dinner with friends or family.

“Love the food but love the vibes even more!” Unfortunately, the wait at Sugo was a bit long, so we ended up at Bar Sugo, but since they share the same menu, we didn’t miss out on much. I went with the popular choice, and the Rigatoni was definitely a win! The Chicken Parmigiana Cutlet was decent, but nothing to rave about. What truly blew our minds though was the Pizza special from the guest chef from Badiali. That pizza was 5/5! Absolutely elevated our whole dining experience. And shoutout to the staff! Our server was super warm and friendly, making the night even better. 5 stars all around! This spot would definitely be my go-to for amazing food or just a couple of drinks!

Came here on a Sunday around dinner time. Had originally planned to go to Sugo but there was limited table seating at the time. When we had went to Bar Sugo next door, it was also busy but they were able to get us a table right away. There are a lot more space & tables. The food was amazing! We had gotten the Caesar, Calamari, spaghetti, and the Conzo pizza and everything tasted amazing! Food came out really quickly. First item came 10 minutes after ordering. Food was perfectly seasoned and not overly salted. Vibes were great and our server is also great. Definitely recommended!

Ate here for dinner with friends for the first time and it was not a disappointment! Staff were friendly and the service was really quick! The food was delicious! I had the spaghetti with meatball (you have to pay for this separately) but it was worth it! Portion sizes are pretty big so you will definitely have leftovers. The calamari was light, crispy and doesn’t have that rubbery chew to it. Recommend coming here, will definitely come back!

We ❤️ Bar Sugo and the original Conzo's. 🍅 Welcoming and efficient service. Staff were good with the kids. 🍅 Sit at the counter if you get a chance. You see the grand production. 🍅 Pizzas are delicious. Check out the wood fired oven at the back. 🍅 There is an energy to this place that is warm and friendly. Gets slightly noisy with the acoustics.

Been over a year that I’ve been planning a visit to Sugo after seeing all the amazing pictures on Instagram, and finally got the chance. The first thing I’ll say is be prepared to wait, a long wait. Came at 6:45pm on a Sunday night and only got our table at 8:05pm. Unfortunately they do not take reservations and there is no where to walk around, nor is it the best neighborhood, so if that’s not for you, I suggest you pick up to take home. Fortunately there are 2 locations side by side with mostly the same menu; Sugo which only has about 8 tables and Bar Sugo which is quite a nice size, and as the name would imply, has a long bar to seat more people. Thanks to Max for taking good care of us! If you are dead-set on strictly going to Sugo, expect to wait 2+ hours. Bar Sugo has a great vibe and the only place to get their amazing pizza, and you only lose a couple of pasta options over Sugo. On to the food. Firstly the Caesar salad was great, nice and garlicky with plenty of dressing, we shared one among 3 people. The garlic bread was just ok, I’d pass and maybe get the mozz sticks that looked really good at another table. The pastas are delicious, cooked perfectly al dente and the sauces have a great rich taste, we ordered the spaghetti bolognese and the rigatoni rose. We ate family-style and also shared the Little Italy pizza as well which was absolute perfection. Portions are quite generous, we were 3 people sharing 1 salad, 2 pastas, and 1 pizza and had enough leftovers to take home for another full meal for 1 person. Lastly the tiramisu is one of the best I’ve had outside of Italy. I would have preferred it without the alcohol taste, but still amazing. Overall worth the long wait, food and friendly staff exceeded my expectations. Lived up to the hype. I highly recommend Sugo / Bar Sugo.

This is a wonderful memorable spot. It started from the front of house, with welcoming friendly staff who you can tell love working there. Even though it was a busy evening no one seemed overly stressed out and the service was impeccable. It sucks you can't make reservations for less then 5 people but at the same time it's worth the wait. We had a 30 min wait and when we were seated we started off with the Calamari Fritti. It was thinly sliced, crunchy, fresh, perfect salt level with 2 amazing sauces served on the side to dip into (my favourite was the garlic sauce). Recommended 100% For the main we decided to share a Uncle Scotty pizza which is more then enough for 2 people (who can really eat). I was surprised of how good zucchini could taste on a pizza. It was so thinly sliced and the whipped ricotta cheese added an amazing creamy finish of perfection really bringing the whole thing together. Also loved the smoked background taste from the wood fire oven in the crust. Truly a must try masterpiece that left you feeling light afterwards. The pizza oven has a great background story to it as it was made from the bricks of a school the owner used to go to (so I've heard) For dessert we had a twist soft serve ice cream to share which was the perfect sweet finish to our whole experience/visit. I loved how both flavours were in every bite like a ying yang. The ice cream was soft, creamy, had a coolness that I didn't expect and what felt like little sweet crystals in my mouth. Loved it!! The washrooms were downstairs and a cool style as well. There was no ladies or mens just individual washrooms to walk into with sinks on the outside. Very modern open concept. I do hope we get a chance to visit again and try other things on the menu. Our experience here has only increased our expectations of how a pizza should truly taste.
