Not my first time.. But my first time to do the review because they worth the 5⭐️. From the first I went to this place and the 2nd time service was excellent, Drinks still one of the best, and the quality and consistency of their food same from year ago.

Food is mainly pork-based, if you don’t eat pork, will be difficult to find anything else to eat. Yuca fries are the best. The drinks are great, the Old Baracoa is the best drink I’ve ever had. The service was AAA+!

Such a tiny space! Wish there was room to dance 💃 All the stars here are for their key lime pie - so so good and worth returning for! Unfortunately i didnt enjoy the drinks - bland and forgettable!

Entering this place felt very good. The ambience was just right. We then joined another person "upstairs". Now lets talk food. I am vegetarian and we did enjoy every bite. The portions were a good size and tasty. The "patacones"/fried plantains in the "Veggie Plate" were excellent, same with the "rice and beans". Ok, one of us was not a vegetarian, hence the other picture - 'Guava BBQ Beef Short Rib' The service was friendly, cordial, casual and just right. Good people indeed. I had a 'cafe cubano' (warning: comes with sugar in an expresso cup) and a cafe cortado and enjoyed both sufficiently. For desert, the 'Cuban Coffe Cream Brûlée'... It was nice and enjoyable and it came garnished with cookies and blueberries. I do recommend this place and it has a patio as well at the front. There was only one area I did not enjoy - the music was too loud and too modern for my liking. So, it is up to you to provide your own feedback. This is a place I would definitely recommend, setting aside the music.

Went for Happy Hour — $10 Classic Cuban Cocktails. So good and refreshing. Love the food. Shrimp and pork belly are highly recommended. Service was fantastic. The server and bartender were very friendly. This is a gem at Leslieville.

We grabbed a couple of Pressed Cubano sandwiches with a side order of Yuca Frita. Overall, the food was good and it definitely had that homemade impression. However, I must agree with others that, at least for the sandwiches, the prices are a little high, more so if you order using an application. If you know what goes inside a Cubano and you have had one before, in Cuba or even the United States, you would understand that $10 for just the sandwich is definitely too much for the portion size. Anyway, maybe we will try other things from the menu and perhaps they will work out better next time.

La Cubana is one of my favorite places for sandwiches!! Customer service is always good and they follow covid measures. The fries are crispy and the sandwiches are amazing! I love the donuts, but don't wait too long to eat it because it will get hard.

I went there yesterday. It was around 4 pm and it was nice and quiet. The food was amazing. I can’t tell you how good was the sandwich and it was so light too. I didn’t feel heavy or sick after having that and that is a good sign to me. They are nice and friendly too. It’s a little bit pricy which I think comparing to what you get it’s worth it. I don’t usually give 5 stars but this one really deserves it! Hope they grow bigger and keep their quality so it’s easily accessible 🤗
