Bar Ardo in Toronto is a delightful gem that perfectly captures the essence of casual dining with a trendy twist. The Sicilian-inspired menu is a standout, showcasing a range of vibrant flavors that reflect the rich culinary traditions of the region. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, with ingredients that burst with freshness—think creamy risottos, hearty pasta, and exquisite seafood options. The bar is equally impressive, featuring an eclectic selection of wines and innovative cocktails that complement the food beautifully. The bartenders are knowledgeable and passionate, eager to recommend the perfect pairing for your meal. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between laid-back and chic, making it an ideal spot for everything from a casual dinner with friends to a more intimate night out. The warm lighting and stylish decor create an inviting vibe that encourages lingering over food and drinks. Overall, Bar Ardo is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a trendy, delicious dining experience in Toronto. The combination of a creative Sicilian menu, a well-curated bar, and a relaxed ambiance makes it a standout destination.

Another hit by chef Roberto Marotto and his partner Jacqueline..beautiful decor with a great vibe. The menu was perfect, both in options and tastes. The chicken al carbon was absolutely fabulous - perfectly seasoned and nicely paired a light salad of greens. Top marks for the linguine, hazelnut gelato and delicious bread. This place is as good as Ardo and I highly recommend it 😊

Went here on a Friday night and sat at the bar with 2 friends. Vibe was great, and it was busy. I think it would be a nice date night spot! We met one of the owners; she was very knowledgeable about the food and lovely to chat with! Drinks were unique and we all had seconds. Anguria Margarita 10/10 Penicillia 10/10 Cafe e olio 10/10 Food was phenomenal! Starters: Acciughe - 9/10 - Sourdough Bread, butter anchovies. It was good, but the portion was small for what it was. Panelle - 10/10 Definitely recommend these chickpea fritters. They went quickly! Coze - 10/10 Very tasty mussels! The sauce was so good, and we mopped up all of it with the bread. Filetto- 10/10 The sauce was absolutely delicious with the steak. Polo al cabone- 10/10 Generous portion of chicken that had a crispy outside and refreshing salad. Wish we had tried the dessert, but we were already full by then. Will try them next time!

Nice addition to the neighbourhood. I'm a big fan of the original ARDO down the street but this one seems like a fresher take. We've been twice for lunch since it opened and they took us without a reservation. The place seems pretty quiet during the day on weekends. I highly recommend the Cavolfiore (cauliflower and chickpea dish). The two pasta dishes are great too. The tenderloin stake is a small piece and may not be filling on its own.

A new cocktail bar on King Street East in Old Town Toronto that you have to visit! 🍸🍹🥃🍷 Bar Ardo is a beautiful new cocktail bar and the menu is curated by Chef Roberto Marotta from Sicily, who is a Michelin recognized chef for Ardo Restaurant located a block away on King Street We were there for DJ Thursday and just love the soft jazz and the chic vibe at Bar Ardo. It’s a great lounge for a special date night or to chill with some friends 🎶 The Italian Sicilian inspired menu is simply fantastic. We are here to try chefs new late night features. The small plates are actually quite generous and perfect for sharing. Everything was simply delicious but some of my faves has to be the Battuto Di Manzo a very well seasoned seared beef tartare, the Scallop Capesante and The Mussels. We also had fresh East Coast Oysters and Blue Fin Tuna Tartare both were so tasty. Each dish was beautifully presented. The carefully crafted cocktails are exquisite and sexy. I had to try Carla Carla, a smooth vodka served wth a spoon of caviar… so luxurious!! They have an amazing Cafe E OLIO … their version of Espresso Martini. The Pina (the pretty pink drink) a smooth Bulleit Burbon with egg white was another favourite cocktail of the night. For the next round, we ended the evening with a few mocktails and they are tantalizing. The Lemon Spritz was refreshing, along with Mockarita and Cosmo. I highly recommend you try this place. The service here is top notch! I definitely want to go back to try the pastas next time 🍷❤️ Don’t miss out on DJ Thursday’s and try the new LATE NIGHT MENU from 8 pm to late!! Came here to check out this new restaurant. It was okay, I do have to agree with some of the reviews here, the portion sizes are a little bit on the small end, however the taste is decent. My only comment (this is a personal preference) is that some of the dishes are a little bit heavy seasoned. I prob will not be back just for dinner, but maybe for drinks. The bartender knows what he was doing n the drinks were pretty good. I do recommend this place for drinks for sure. One last comment, I like the atmosphere and the vibe in this restaurant.

I had a really fantastic experience, eating at Bar ARDO. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly. Some of my favourite dishes included the steak which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The olives were some of the best I’ve had. The imperiale was delicious and such a great take on a cesar salad. The tuna tartare was a must try as well. I really appreciated that they have lots of gluten-free options and were very accommodating and careful. They also have a gluten-free fryer. I would highly recommend it.
