It’s a great experience overall. Servers kept speaking to us in Chinese while we did not understand what they are talking about…anyhow, i personally liked the food, but majority of my friends did not feel it. Food taste was pretty good for me as it is not the regular chinese food that I am used to. Portion wise though…its pretty small imo (we did not feel full at all) and ate somewhere else after. But the place and the vibe is pretty great overall. Not sure if we would come back though

At first glance on the menu, I had like over 8 dishes I wanted to order. When the server came over, I was told that the peaking duck deal was cash only, so anything else you ordered at the same table has to be all paid in cash, also a Google review is needed. I've asked if I could split the bill since there was a party of 2, but they were firm about it. So we were back to thinking spot. Since they were firm with it, I've decided just to order the peaking duck only since it was what caught my eyes on the ad they posted on the window. Seriously, who carries around 200-300 cash on them when the majority of younger generations have Apple or Samsung or Goolge pay? After my order of the peaking duck comes out, another server just started work. She says she will make it an exception for us to split the bill if we want to order more. The restaurant when we arrived was dead, we were the only table they had. I guess they realized it wasn't ideal to turn down $200 business. So I've ordered a few more dishes, but there were some items they said on the menu that have different sizing, but when you order them, they say there is only a large size. The peaking duck is slightly different from the ones you can get from Cantonese restaurant. There are parts that are kind of dry. The 2nd dish has many options to be served, but 2 of the popular ways have an additional $5 fee. I've chosen the salt and pepper style, which didn't disappoint me. The sliced pork tripe and biased pork belly weren't disappointing at all! The house style eggplant has potential if it's more crispy on the outside. All the dishes were on the oily side, though. It's also not like your typical Chinese restaurant serving you tea on the house. Tea is extra charge.

Excellent food, came really quickly after ordering. The servers were very attentive and work soo fast! Every dish was great. I loved the duck especially. The Jianbing was also amazing, authentic and fairly priced. The atmosphere feels elegant and the washroom was spotless. Impeccable.

Such a beautiful restaurant with delicious food! They currently have a wonderful deal for their half priced Peking Duck (paid in cash, with a review). Everything is so fresh and flavourful, very authentic Tianjin cuisine. The decor is stunning and the service makes us feel so cared for and at home. I would highly recommend!

I had the Peking Duck, Winter Melon Meatball Soup and some other dishes here, and all of them were super tasty! The portions were really generous, and the flavors were spot on. The service was great, everyone was so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

The server was so sweet and gave us great suggestions! They even gave us their new eggplant dish for free for us to try (it was our favourite in the end). My family and I have been to many Chinese restaurants since I was little and this place was surprisingly very good. The dishes were flavorful and balanced sweet to savory well. If you love dishes on the sweeter side then you would love the food here. Their steamed buns and XLBs were very yummy too. We came on a weekday evening, so there weren’t too many people, however the modern interior gave a clean and comfortable feel. Overall, my family and I would definitely come back :)

What a great experience. Very pleasant staff. The atmosphere was very nice and very clean. You can see and taste the quality in the food which was nicely presented. The peking duck was delicious. In the Heart of chinatown. My mother is visiting and I plan to bring her here. Is definitely worth the 1 hour drive. I would say this is a must try.

Highly recommend this restaurant. They accommodated our allergies very quickly and were overall incredibly understanding. On top of that, the food was delicious! We had their signature Peking Duck, the fried rice, the baozi, and egg plant. It was an amazing experience and we look forward to coming again!
