Bao Mama - Market at 70 King, Oshawa

I discovered Bao Mama on Instagram and decided to give them a try—and I’m so glad I did! The restaurant is located in a cozy food court, and I chose to dine in. The atmosphere was inviting, with comfortable seating, and the service was impressively fast, even for the variety of items I ordered. Bao Mama exceeded my expectations with their incredible flavors and unique menu. The homemade bread they use for the baos is outstanding and sets them apart. Here’s what I tried: Original Crispy Chicken Bao Crispy Shrimp Bao Beef Brisket Bao Shrimp and Mushroom Bao Each bao comes with its own distinct sauce, making every bite a new experience. I also had their fries, which were perfectly crispy and maintained that crunch all the way through. If you’re looking for something flavorful and unique, I highly recommend stopping by Bao Mama. Trust me—you won’t regret it. Thank me later 😉

First time eating here and it did not disappoint. Food was awesome. We had the try pack best seller and they were great. BBQ Pork and triple B were the best, the chicken was good as well.

Go visit & order food from Bao Mama! The food is so delicious! Our fave is the Triple B, sinigang fries plus calamansi drink. Try their new lomi, the best! Huge portion! 2 people can share as seen in my photo. It comes with crispy lumpia shanghai & pieces of chicharon as toppings. Makes me want to go back again.

Have had their birria and triple B, the triple B is the winner in my opinion, flavour there great bao. Man have prices gone up for these bao’s though. Little pricy to eat here everyday imo but good quality food solid 4/5 ⭐️

It is my first time eating to bao Mama , Lomi was delicious perfect for the cold weather, and the portion of the food price is reasonable. The owner was really nice and the staff are friendly and fast service. If you are looking for filipino food this is place is to go to.Thank You!

Service is amazing. Went into the food hall and this was the only place that explained the menu and mentioned people's favorites. The service is amazing. The food is fresh. The halohalo slush drink is really good to. Portions are good. You feel full and feel good after you eat as well. Best place to grab a bite to eat. Nice seating area. Good prices. Worth a visit and relax and have a good meal. 90% of there sauces they make in house and everything else is made on the spot. Fresh and yummy.

Bao Mama is a must try place. The food is absolutely amazing. The size and portion is very good. Staffs are friendly and serves you with a smile. The owner Nina comes to the register to greet me and other customers. The location is beautiful and clean. I’m so happy they open up the Oshawa location. We will definitely visit very often.

It was our first time to try Bao Mama to see what the hype is all about. There's no question that yes, it is good. We tried the Fries (for our daughter), Premium Halo-Halo, Mango Juice and the 'Best Seller - Try Pack.' However, we think that the customer service could be better. I would like to point out two things that would have improved our dining experience. First, since the juice container was a bit big for our daughter, my simple request was to ask for a small cup only to be denied and told "We don't give out cups." We ended up using the dipping sauce container for our daughter so that she can drink her mango juice - what a pity! Second, while enjoying the fries, our mayo/ketchup dip ran low, and when I requested more, I was again denied, despite other condiments being readily available on the counter. Given the fries were salty, this was frustrating. It's worth noting that we spent over $50 on our meal, so we were certainly paying customers. Given this experience, I'm not sure if we'll return, especially with other food options available in the 'Market'
