Food is mediocre. Portion is extremely small. Really stingy on meat. I ordered beef baked bun with potato. Literally all potato. With tiny amount of beef. I am still good for another full meal.

I don’t want to sound extra but the hand made noodles with tomato and eggs that I had yesterday reminded me of my mother. I miss her food. The place definitely will be my new favorite. Very clean and very delicious food.prices are reasonable and the staff specifically the guy who served food is very well spoken and very friendly. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Food was very good, I had pork bao and beef and carrot bao, both were very good. Atmosphere was neat, the seating was interesting. Everything was in Chinese so if you don't speak it, use Google Lens to translate the words in the restaurant. I've been here twice, will be back.

I love the food, atmosphere and service at Bao Express. I drove from Brampton to Markham with my daughter on a Saturday just to experience the delicious food. We ordered beef noodle soup, pan fried juicy pork dumplings (special) and juicy pork dumplings. They provide hot lemon water and the server was always so attentive. You can pay by cash or debit only but with cash payment you get 10% off your entire order. I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone who enjoys a nice juicy and tasty dumpling. The pan fried dumpling is my favourite with the crispy and juicy textures combined. You have to check it out the food is deeeelish!! The price was reasonable for 2 soups and 2 appetizers we paid $36. Not bad for a great meal for 2! And we had leftovers!! Update April 14/24-we came back again for more of our yummy food! Looove Bao Express they have great service and good food. We will keep coming back and making the drive to Markham!! This time we had juicy pork dumplings both steamed and pan fried! Deeelish! 🤤🥟💕

Place is ok.. we tried 5 dishes.. the crepe and Onion Oil Pancake dishes are worth coming back for… Probably won’t do the noodles again..edible.. but not worth coming back for. The steamed baos and pan-fried baos were also not worth coming back for.. Dinner for 2 costed $42 plus tip. Place was completely empty when we went for dinner around 6.:30pm

Wanted to gatekeep this gem but they deserve to get blown up!! Their pan-fried juicy pork buns/dumplings are $3.99 for 6 (that’s Juicy Dumpling pricing!!) Also tried the zucchini, egg and vermicelli dumplings and they were so fresh, filling and delicious - must get It’s a small shop but the renovation/decor is insane

This place is a lot more spacious than I thought. Overall food was very oily. I ordered a bunch of items to try and I thought only the juicy soup pork dumplings were good. Everything else was too oily.
