Burger is very greasy - greasier than most smashburger joints. Which is kind of impressive considering the beef patty is a bit on the small side. Can't imagine coming here again.

The gravy was fully congealed i brought it to show the staff and said it doesnt look right and they refused to do anything .. they said this is what we serve everyone . I asked can i just get like a fries instead they said no. Lol. Just to be clear i didnt bring back this food after eating it i took it home and looked and thought this doesnt look okay so came back . I just left it with them as they didnt offer any help (except to put more gravy on top ?!) or refund like im sorry to leave a poor review but i didnt come in mean or anything:/

The best burgers & milkshakes in Toronto! Absolute love this spot, the smash burgers & waffle fries are INCREDIBLE and never disappoint, the milkshakes are dream worthy and on top of all the delicious food, the employees are so friendly! they always remember me and my order and give service with a smile everytime. Truly a hidden gem. If you’re in the neighbourhood you’ve got to check them out!

Just WOW! I was working in the area and decided to look for something other than pizza or other junk food. Ended up walking into banquet burger to get some beef! Absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten in my life! Double cheeseburger, Smashburger with all the fixings! I swear he was making a burger for himself the way he made it with such care and perfection. I stuck around to write this review to see if my stomach would allow me to order a second one and sure enough, my guy Bhumik is making my second one now! This burger was packed full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and just the right amount of grease dripping out! In my mind, if your burger isn’t mess, messy, it isn’t a burger! LFGOOOO Banquet Burger!

Best poutine and burgers in Toronto! Banquet Burger has easily become my go-to spot for comfort food in Toronto. I ordered the poutine, one of their signature burgers, and decided to try the waffle poutine as well – everything was amazing! The poutine was perfectly cheesy with just the right amount of gravy. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, with fresh toppings that made it even better. But the real surprise was the waffle poutine – crispy, golden waffles loaded with cheese curds and gravy, it’s a must-try! The staff was super friendly, and the service was fast. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving top-notch comfort food!

August 7 1pm. Male Cashier. Very kind, smiling and helpful guy. He assisted me on the menu and properly introduced food options. He also said “hope you like the food” which is a nice gesture of wishing the customer well.
