Banh Mi Trung Son

You know it's legit Banh Mi when you take a bite and the crust of the bread explodes all over your clothes. Excellent flavour and kind staff. 10/10

Really good banh mi. I love how they put shredded pork into the banh mi thap cam. Price is reasonable. Buy 10 get 1 free. Remember to bring cash. Very satisfied. Recommended

2024 May 3.5★ While the sign is up, Look carefully as it's literally a hole in the wall. Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt (Có Chả Lua, Ham và Bi) Vietnamese Deluxe Assorted sandwich $4.5 It's ok. Uses pork floss instead of cha lua (Vietnamese ham). Probably due to prices. There is an option to add it though for $1.5 Bánh Mì Gà Đút Lò Vietnamese Roasted Chicken Sandwich $4 Cooked shredded chicken. Not flavorful enough. Would pass. Bánh Mì Chà Bông Cá và Sả Ớt. Vietnamese Shredded Dry Fish & Spicy Lemongrass Sandwich $4 Portably the best one here. Flavorful spicy and a bit sweet. Not often you'll find dry fish. Fried banana. $1.50 Not bad, just oily. Overall, the bread is so so. There's a bit too much bread or not enough filling. For ~$4 worth checking out. Would only suggest #5 dry fish Limited parking. Seating at the park. Cash only.

This is a fantastic hidden gem. This place primarily serves banh mi sandwiches at a fantastic price. You order at a small window and a few minutes later you are ready to go; there is no seating other than a small bench. I got the roasted chicken and assorted sandwich which came to $8.50 for both; note it is cash only. The chicken was my favourite, it had really great flavour and the chicken was moist. For the value I would recommend this all day. Can’t wait to go again.

A great little hole in the wall place for Banh Mi. Ordered the shredded fish for $4.50. The banh mi is the best in the city and amazing price. They fill the bun well, very filling and tasty.

This is a to-go banh mi shop only. You order outside through a small sliding window. The bread was imperfect looking but the ingredients made up for it. I ordered the dried shredded pork for only $4.50. What a steal! It has just the right amount of filling and it was really tasty.

Decent banh mi for $4 each. Got the assorted and chicken sandwiches. Overall the sandwiches here are on the sweeter side. I'm a savoury kind of gal so probably wouldn't come back here again. Note: it's a grab and go place, no sit down.

Really good Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwiches). The prices are really good - $4.00 for a sandwich. I got the satay shredded pork sandwich and it comes with various vegetables. The shredded pork was fresh. For an extra $0.50 you can get garlic oil on your bread which is worth it. The place is very small as you can see in the picture - it’s a grab-and-go joint. But it has that authentic Vietnamese street food feel. One of the best $4 you will ever spend.
