A great gem in Hamilton. Truly tastes like home! The banh mi is so fresh, crunchy and warm, loaded with lots of meat and toppings.

easily my new favourite spot! other than delicious sandwich i just had, this place is very clean and more important very nice and enthusiastic people who work there. while i wish they offered some halal meat, i can also understand that there might not be a high demand for it. other than that, i will be stopping by regularly for the vegetarian option as it was very delicious…. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!

My absolute favourite banh mi place in all of Hamilton. Everything is fresh, made to order, and their homemade chili oil with the hot pepper combination is so good! The staff are also very nice and even worked with me when ordering a party tray over the phone. 10/10 recommend, glad they are doing well and hope they stay for a long time!

The most delicious lemongrass chicken banh mi I've ever had. Perfectly tender chicken, balanced flavours and warm fresh crusty bread. Had it in store and was very tempted to buy another.

We were in Hamilton for the day and stopped by this place to try their assorted banh mi. The banh mi was well-balanced and great value. The bread to filling ratio was just right in my opinion. We also tried the glutinous rice dumpling (banh it) and tapioca dumplings (banh bot loc) which were excellent. Both dishes had a mochi-like consistency which we enjoyed. The lady at the counter was kind enough to warm up the banh it and even made a fresh batch of banh bot loc since we wanted to try it! That's some amazing customer service. This is a must-try if you're passing through Hamilton!

A great new spot for authentic banh mi. Fresh house made quality ingredients adds that made with love at home taste. The bread is good with enough softness but with a good crisp on the outside. Great friendly service. The prices are more than fair and portions generous. Will be back to try more of the menu. Parking is a bit tight but there are plenty of street options and it's pretty easy to circle around.

Banh Mi Hue in Hamilton is an absolute game-changer, easily making its way into my top three favorite spots to eat in the city. Whenever I need a pick-me-up or something to celebrate, their banh mi is my go-to treat. Whether you choose the Assorted Sandwich (Thập Cẩm), the zesty Lemongrass Chicken (Thịt Ga Sả), the rich BBQ Pork (Xa Xíu), or the flavorful Lemongrass Beef (Thịt Bò Sả), you're in for a delight. And here's a tip: add that chili oil for an extra kick—it's transformative. Tommy and the team at Banh Mi Hue have catered large events for me twice, each time for over 200 people, and their service has been nothing short of exceptional. They're not just nice; they go out of their way to accommodate every request. Plus, the prices are so budget-friendly that it leaves you feeling great about your choices. As someone who enjoys a hearty meal, I usually opt for two sandwiches to feel fully satisfied. I've experimented a bit, pairing a single sandwich with tapioca dumplings, fresh rolls, sesame balls, or honeycomb cake. These sides are good, but honestly, they don’t compare to the banh mi's wow factor. About the sesame balls, though: the mung bean filling wasn't quite right, somewhat clumpy rather than smooth and pasty, as I'd expected. It's a minor point, but it stood out to me. But that's just nitpicking. I can't recommend the banh mi enough—if you're in Hamilton, do yourself a favor and drop by Banh Mi Hue. It's a place I plan on visiting for as long as I can. Trust me, you'll want to keep coming back for more.
