Bampot is an incredible cafe/restaurant with a great selection of curated teas, food that is delicious and healthy, and a strong sense of community. Their new food options are wonderful: try out their chickpea tofu sandwich(the Constantinople) if you get a chance. It is my personal favorite. They open their space several times a week to art groups and serve as a space for creative people to gather, share ideas, and collaborate. On the first and third Mondays of the month, they open their space to the Drink and Draw Toronto meetup group. They are warm, welcoming and have the space setup ahead of time to maximize collaboration among attendees. Ever since we started hosting the meetup at Bampot, our community has grown more closely knit. Attendees reach out personally to share their positive experiences in the space. Thanks to Bampot for being a cornerstone for many arts communities and infusing life into the Drink and Draw meetup.

I was here for a book club meet. The place was quiet and well organized. When i arrived, I experienced a musical symphony. Lol courtesy of the music club. The ambience was just right enough to enjoy our conversations! It was a cold day. We tried some tea (unicorn’s blood). It sure tasted like berries. I preferred more warmth in the tea. The sandwich was cold and i would have preferred a warm sandwich for a cold day. May be it was meant to be a cold sandwich.

I've lived in the neighbourhood my whole life and have never stepped foot into this absolute hidden gem!! The second you sit down you're transported somewhere totally different - between the art on the walls, the decor and the vibe and set up...I could go on. The tea is absolutely phenomenal and their staff's recommended blends are also fantastic. Their food is also really yummy. I had the Lox on their all day brunch menu. It was perfect. The owner is a lovely gentleman as well. I will definitely be going back!

Such a nostalgic place to visit. I reached out to book an event here and it’s not an easy thing to do, they get filled up fast. It still has the same feel from years ago.

Food – We visited for the Afternoon Tea Experience, and it was fantastic! The finger foods were plentiful—perfect for two—and we were absolutely stuffed by the end. The real star, though, was the tea selection. With a wide variety ranging from non-caffeinated options to unique specialty blends, it was a tea lover’s dream. While the "Fairies Blood" wasn’t our favorite, we really enjoyed other teas like Toronto Haze, their recommended Chai, and Creamsicle. There's something for every palate, though some teas are definitely bolder than others. It’s an adventure for your taste buds! Service – The service was exceptional! Our server was friendly, funny, and went above and beyond—taking pictures, offering recommendations, and always being attentive. They made us feel welcome from start to finish. Truly couldn’t ask for more. Huge kudos to the team! Ambiance – The vibe here is carefully curated, with a charming mix of mismatched decor, quirky utensils, and local artwork. The cozy, eclectic atmosphere made it a joy just to sit and take it all in. They even have games you can play, and before we knew it, three hours had flown by! I also appreciated the inclusive touch, like the community board in the washroom, which makes it clear that this is a space to relax and leave your worries behind. However, I’m not sure about the accessibility of the teahouse. Overall – I highly recommend this spot!

I absolutely ADORE this place. Went here with both my partners and we got this amazing raised booth in the corner with a bunch of cushions that you sprawl out onto. It's incredibly cosy with a huge selection of teas and an atmosphere that makes me want to spend all day there. The other patrons seem to agree as I spent hours here and there were some people there for longer than us.

Reached out in advance to confirm that their afternoon tea could be made gluten-free. They made a separate smaller version for me to ensure no cross contamination. Staff was super attentive and quick to bring new tea. They even replaced one pot we didn’t like. It was very tasty and would recommend!!
