Bamiyan Kabob

As a regular customer of this restaurant for nearly three years, I’ve always enjoyed the food, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. The quality of the Qabuli rice has significantly declined, often being served cold, with the lamb appearing frozen. The service has also taken a noticeable downturn, with food being presented poorly. I’m not one to typically complain about food, but as a loyal customer, I urge the management to prioritize customer satisfaction and invest in properly training their staff. This change in quality and service is concerning, and I hope improvements are made.

Bamiyan Kabob to me is the quintessential YorkU experience. I usually come after training for a nice balanced meal with friends. I really love the chicken breast kabob and the kofta kabob platters. The platter comes with the salad, (massive amount of) brown basmati rice, afghan naan, your choice of meat and the two sauces. The portion is insane and good for sharing if you're not that hungry. Friendly services. Also, although there's no fancy decor, the restaurant is clean and pleasant to sit in.

Went in on a Monday Night at around 10:40pm for a mango drink. They were already cleaned up, ready to go home. I was told they were closed. Store hours on your door say 11pm?? I was also told they start closing at 10:30. So you should put 10:30pm on your door NOT 11pm

Quick service, we got our order within 15 minutes. We ordered the dinner plates of kebabs. Food quality is good but the taste is decent, I wouldn't say it is great. The quantity is enough for a young person to feel properly full. The price is comparable to other similar places. Bread was very good. There is ample seating. A great place for a group. Staff behind the counter were courteous and helpful.
