Service has never been the greatest but at least the food was good. The quality has gone down terribly. I ordered snapper dinner on skip the dishes and they canceled my order and told me I had to add other items to “increase” the price because they don’t have any snapper at that price. Apparently the snapper is of various sizes and the one they had was large. So I did, but I don’t think it’s right to put that on your customers. It’s not our problem, fix your menu! Also all other meals come with gravy, but there’s no option to add fish gravy just meat gravy. If you want to add fish gravy it’s an additional charge which makes no sense because I’m having a fish meal. Anyway, I get my food and the fish is huge but it’s OLD. And it’s not the first time I had old snapper from here. The inside was so dry and it just tasted terrible. That is the last time I ever order from them

A lot of complaints about customer service and I agree you don’t get a big friendly, hello here, but isn’t that part of an authentic Jamaican experience? When I order authentic Jamaican food, I expect to have a real Jamaican woman suck her teeth while she looks at me up and down and says “what do you want?“. Don’t take any offence to this. This is how it is in The culture. Unfortunately I was met with a big smile and friendly greeting by a shorter woman named Cash or something like that. She was helpful and helped me decide what to get in a mixed combo. Every Caribbean joint is a bit different with their spices and barbecuing process but this place seems to add some smoke to the chicken and I get a touch of coconut milk in the rice. Definitely rice and peas amongst all, the GTA restaurants I’ve been to. Don’t be put off by customer service. I think it’s funny.

Food used to be good. But I realized that they are serving HALAL meat now!!! For jerk chicken?!?! I cannot eat halal due to my religion and had no clue they were serving it until recently. I feel sick that I ate it without knowing!! Please consider switching back to regular quality meat!!

Went by google reviews. Order : Beef Patty & small Jerk chicken with rice Beef Patty was a big let down. Very dry, looked dehydrated. Perhaps I was given the one had been in there all day. Jerk chicken was definitely great. Chicken moist and rice were good. Not so spicy that it would overpower but I could taste the marinade through and through. Good hot sauce on side, wish it was a bit more than just half full. The pasta salad was a bit too sweet for me.

Found a long piece of hair in my food while chewing it. You can see the strand at the top of the picture. Edit: The business owner is claiming i'm trying to sabotage his business?? I did try calling, i attached the screenshot of my missed call below; no one picked up. I picked it up at 7:30, and ate when I got home. It was near your closing time, but I did try to call. This is one of my favourite food places. I have no reason to try and hurt your business. Reacting as if I was writing my review in bad faith for whatever reason makes no sense. Please be professional and take accountability.

Excellent food, the jerk chicken is mouthwatering and delicious. Pasta salad and rice and peas with the oxtail gravy was perfect. Reasonable portion and price.

My search for a good jerk chicken place is over. This place IS IT! The best!!! I have not eating such good jerk chicken in years. The chicken is fresh, flavourful yet not too spicy juicy and most of all it tastes like it was cooked on fire and has a hint of smoke and a bit of char (which is what I have been missing)! The rice and peas was also tasty and tender and oxtail gravy was thick and flavourful. Macaroni and coleslaw are also tasty and fresh.

The jerk chicken is smokey and sweet, and it falls right off the bone. The pasta salad and rice and peas with oxtail gravy go perfectly with the chicken. Get hot sauce on the side for those who like it spicy. This has been my go-to spot for jerk chicken for many years, the quality of the food is consistent especially for the price!
