Baghlan Kabob & Bakery

Been going to this same restaurant for over 8 years now. me and my family have always loved their food and customer service, especially the fresh made baklava as well!! However, now they've become so stingy with the portion sizes, even of the sauces! The new rule of not being allowed to have any outside food even if 3 people are buying food from them but one from somewhere else and brings it in to sit and eat as a group, they won't allow it...why? Used to absolutely love this place but unfortunately I don't think I'd wanna go again.

Very nice place, food is very fresh and hot. The girls are very friendly and helpful. I always like their chicken shawarma platter and their Beef Chapli Kabob platters. Although all the platters are very good. I keep going their because of the price and the quality of the food, I have been buying things for years and have never had a single complaint. Most importantly the food tastes so so so delicious. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. Love this place and my thanks to the owners.

Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable and the portion is very good. When it comes to the taste of food, as an Afghan who knows the real taste of Afghani food, I will give it 2 stars. They need to work more on food taste

Stopped by for lunch and got the tandoori chicken double kebab dinner. Really fire I will definitely be back 🔥 Edit: I’ve now been here 20+ times since I’m working next door temporarily and I don’t understand the negative reviews. Not once have I had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and tasty. Not a single complaint

Don't necessarily agree with so many negative reviews. Received decent service and great tasting food when I visited for a Sunday lunch. The kebabs were good and juicy and the spinach-leek bolani was yummy as well. I agree having rice and naan, both with only 3 sticks of kebab might be too much carbs for some people. However, the green chutney/ vinegar was good and I don't think the girls at the counter would mind if you ask for few more to finish the rice.

How can someone eat so dry food. I’m so disappointed with their staff. So arrogant and not friendly. It’s not just once but everytime I had to ask for sauce and they keep asking me to pay extra 1-2$ for sauce. Why will I pay extra for sauce. Definitely their food is expensive and am paying for everything then why am I supposed to pay extra. The girl at this location one with out hijab is always ready to fight for 1$ I used to visit this place a lot but for sure not visiting again. And to the owner please change your policies or change your staff.

Nice place for those food lovers who eat less spicy food. Baghlan severs Halal meat. We had a beef Kabab with rice. It was nice in taste but less spicy. Every day there is a special dish which is a bit cheaper than regular days. The atmosphere is okay.

Took my mom out to grab dinner for home. Discovered this place. Got to say the pricing is on point. Very reasonable. The food was excellent. Got the Chicken Drumstick Dinner that comes with 4 drumsticks, a salad, naan, and spicy sauce. All for the daily special for 7.99. Can't beat that! Did i mention the food was excellent? Mama approved it as well I got it for her and she's a very picky eater. She loved it. Oh and the front staff lady was very nice, patient and informative! Definitely one of our top 10 places to go to if were around the Rexdale area.
