We visited on a Tuesday afternoon, and the relaxed atmosphere meant the staff’s attention was completely on us. Omar went above and beyond by bringing us complimentary lentil soup and tea before we even asked, showcasing his exceptional hospitality. He mentioned that weekends are a lot busier, so if you prefer a calm and relaxed experience, a weekday visit is ideal—though we’re confident the service would be excellent anytime. The entire staff is Iraqi, which adds a beautifully authentic touch to the cuisine—it’s the best Iraqi food we’ve had in Mississauga. The family-like atmosphere was truly heartwarming, and Omar made us feel right at home. Whether speaking to him in Arabic or not, his kindness and hospitality shine through to every guest. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at Baghdad, enjoying authentic Iraqi cuisine! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and a true reflection of traditional Iraqi cooking. The grilled meat and fatoush salad were hands down the best I’ve had in the GTA—perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. Hamza, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was unforgettable. He was respectful, patient, and welcoming, guiding us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. His warm demeanor and dedication to customer satisfaction made us feel truly valued. Visited tonight. It was a 10/10 experience! Delicious food. Very authentic. Great service from Jordan. He was wonderful and very patient; and lovely to talk with. I enjoyed the food and the quantity Great hidden gem! The kebabs were delicious. So tender and flavourful The falafel was AMAZING! Yum! The chicken shish tawooq was fantastic too. The rice was so soft and absorbed all the flavour from the meat resting on top (mix platter) and each grain fell and was separate. Not mushy or bland. The hummus was also great! Everything was fresh! We were very happy Great seating. Very spacious and comfortable. Lots of parking. All in all..I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!!

Been back twice in the past month because the shawarma is just that good!! Free lentil soup to start, delicious meat shawarma, and Iraqi tea to top it all off 🤤🤤 Servers have always been so friendly and generous with us! Will definitely keep coming back. Proper Iraqi food 🫡

This restaurant offers a wide variety of Iraqi cuisine and good quality food. I had the chance to try their beef kebab and beef shawarma sandwiches, they were delicious! The meat is so tender and flavorful🤤 They have plenty of seating and it is very clean. Our server Jordan was very helpful and pleasant!
