This review is based on New Year’s Eve celebrations at the restaurant. On the positive: Food was great. Had oysters, kale salad, & from their special New Year’s Eve menu Lobster roll. The roll was small but tasted great & the fries were one of the best I’ve had. Their gin cocktail tasted great. I was impressed they had De Loach Pinot Noir & Chardonnay also by the glass. Lastly great Bourbon flights. On the Negative: They only had 2 servers that also were bartenders & 1 manager. Even before the restaurant became crowded, our server forgot to get mains for the other couple with us & charged them for a salad they never ordered. The manager did take the salad off the bill but didn’t do anything else for them. Once the crowd came in, it just got worse. Never saw our server as she was busy serving drinks at the bar. The manager was hustling around removing food, & trying to get drinks. I don’t know how a restaurant only had 3 staff on for this event with approximately 150 to 200 people to serve. Lastly, the band was half an hour late & on a Prince song, the base was so loud that the singer sounded like a Peanut’s adult character talking. Despite this I looking forward to just going there for dinner during normal times/days.

Nice place. Wasn’t busy. Tried it be fore but it was better this time. Mixed menu but the burger was a hit. Amazing service. Great whiskey selection

Our go to restaurant at least once a week! Happy Hour offers Oysters for $2.00 and Wine Wednesday has bottles at half price. The Mac and Cheese is amazing! Our other favourites are the fish cakes, the smoked brisket and french fries. Excellent servers and all around relaxed atmosphere!

Everything was good! My boyfriend and I came for dinner and it was great quality and best brisket sandwich i’ve had. The daiquiri was so good! I ordered the brisket panini, and he got the pork belly melt. Cute bathrooms and inviting atmosphere. Overall great experience! Was $89 including tip!

We read the reviews and knew we had to give this place a shot. The atmosphere is bar chic - very cool. The menu is awesome and takes pub style food with a creative twist. The goal was to try as many things as possible and because we were there before 6 o’clock we were able to hit up happy hour drinks and apps. The food presentation was beautiful and all our dishes were tasty. The beef short ribs were excellent, but the portion is small so make sure you order an app if you’re hungry. Service was 12 out of 10 and the drinks were perfect. A little on the pricey side but great experience.

Had an amazing time at B-Side Social- cocktails, apps, BBQ board, and whiskey flights were so good! Service (shout out to Nick) was on point and the atmosphere was great. Have already recommended to several friends!

New review: This past Saturday my bestie and I took advantage of the do-over that was offered to us. What a fabulous experience we had! We both tried the Cesar salad and it was so delicious!! Lots of yummy dressing and fresh parm on it. We both really enjoyed it. My bestie decided to try the baby back ribs and the cabbage and apple slaw. She thought they were only going to bring out a half rack but they brought out a whole rack of ribs for her. I'm not even a rib person and they looked very delicious! There was tons of yummy barbecue sauce on the ribs and the slaw was very tasty I tried a little. My bestie said the ribs were very good! Since her seafood boil wasn't the greatest last time they also brought out a seafood boil on the house for her to retry it. She was very impressed it was definitely cooked longer and better with more seasoning and more butter. Lots of leftovers for home. This time around I decided to try the Mac and cheese brisket and boy was it very good! There's pieces of shredded beef brisket in with the macaroni and cheese and some garlic toast to go with it. I also had a Diet Pepsi with lime and it was from the can this time so there was no issues with the taste it was just like a regular Diet Pepsi cola very good! The server was very friendly and attentive just like last time. We got to meet the Manager Mark and he also checked in to make sure we were liking everything. What the owner did goes a long way with me. I'm happy to say I'll be back for more mac and cheese brisket! UPDATE: I spoke with one of the owners today and she addressed my issues respectfully and my bestie and I are getting a do-over soon. I will update my review once we've done the do-over. Original review: Well unfortunately this is not a good review. I'd have to say this was probably the worst experience I've had in a long time. My bestie and I definitely got our hopes up for this place and we were both let down. I thought to try the smoked jerk chicken with the mac and cheese side. My bestie loves seafood so she ordered the seafood boil. Let's start off with hers. The potatoes and sausage were undercooked as well as some of the muscles so my bestie only had a few bites and took the rest home and re-cooked it herself and then enjoyed it. She also noticed how there was zero seasoning whatsoever. Now my smoked jerk chicken was horrible... Even looking at the picture it doesn't even look like chicken. It was severely undercooked it was rubbery and the taste was just off and boy did I pay for it. I had 3 bites and didn't bother to touch the rest of it. I was grossed out. The staff though were very friendly and very accommodating they did not charge me for it which I was grateful but there was something off with that smoked chicken. It should have a nice crispy outside with a juicy inside and the whole thing was like rubber. I love jerk and have had it many times over the years and the taste with this was just off..Since Sunday evening when we visited I've had some severe ibs issues and got sick from only 3 bites... Okay so enough about the nasty smoked chicken I ordered a Diet Pepsi with lime when I got my drink it just tasted like carbonated water I could taste no cola whatsoever. I notified my server and she checked on the pop dispensary and said that it was working fine. I got her to taste it and she did agree that it just tasted like carbonated water. So I switched to a gingerale. It was a bit better but still not enough syrup for my liking. I still drank it and again I wasn't charged for it. The only good thing from this experience was the side of mac and cheese it was very good!. The servers were also extremely friendly and apologetic. I'm planning to call the manager when they open today to notify them of how I was sick after eating just a small portion of that chicken... As much as I would like to give them another shot because the service was good, I can't risk getting sick like that again so I am going to have to pass
