I never write reviews , but unfortunately I have to this time. (READ ALL OF IT FOR YOUR SAKE) I was a guest at the hotel and I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. on December 31st I decided to dine in (terrible mistake), I invited 7 of my friends to the restaurant for a 6:30 reservation. The service was not the best, the waitress takes forever with any tasks, even after we finished dining we waited at least 15 minutes for the table to get cleaned up when the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. after asking the manager to clean the table he did immediately, and I asked for the bill just to wait another 15 minute for my waitress to bring it to me. when i checked the bill I noticed that the waitress has added her own tip ? prior to even me checking it. I think that was crazy because I didn’t even receive a good service for you to input your own tip. 5 of us ordered the ravioli pasta and after 20 minutes of my first bite into the pasta i went to vomit. i didn’t think much of it , however as the night progress my health extremely deteriorate and I got food poisoning. I was throwing up all night even though there was nothing in my system at that point because i threw up in the restaurant. additionally i had bad diarrhea and heat shocks. I was extremely dehydrated, my body couldn’t even handle drinking water everything that enters my system I puke. I had to cancel my new year’s party and plans. I spent about 310$ just to get food poisoning. I checked out on wednesday but due to my food poisoning I had to extend my trip at a different hotel because I couldn’t drive back, I spent all night in the bathroom between vomiting and diarrhea . Additionally , I asked my friends who also ordered the pasta and they are starting to see symptoms , diarrhea and abdominal pain. I brung this to the restaurant attention and they told me they will conduct an investigation and get back to me. I’m not a resident of toronto , and I’ve spent all day calling with no answer. That’s why I had to come here. I don’t want to escalate the situation and involve Ottawa Public health and complain to food safety, however if I don’t receive my refund and hear back from the restaurant then I will have to do so. Also just save ur money and go somewhere else , dont risk it.

This was my family's first time here over the holidays and we will definitely be back. Both myself and another family member have allergies and the staff made a note of our allergies and took special care to ensure that the food they served us was safe for us to eat. Special thanks to our server Penny who was super attentive and kind during the dinner. We were very impressed with our experience and can't wait to return and dine again.

Nov 2024 Main lobby resto of the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto that is the central food and beverage option for guests staying there. The food is updated modern continental cuisine with very professional execution. Menu is compact and catered to business travellers and diners. They also have daily specials worth trying. The service within the outlet is friendly and very service oriented and are very well knowledgeable about the dishes. Room service is also prompt and proper. As for the layout it is architecturally wide and spacious though it does reflect dated styles of past hotels.

Arrived yesterday and went for a cocktail to relax. I met the best, friendliest bartender named William. We don't know the area, and William was very helpful. Every question we asked him about things to do, he had spot on suggestions that is going to make our 3 nights here better. Thanks William 😊 you are great and a definite asset to the hotel.

05/26-26/2024 - Visited the Azure Restaurant & Bar during my stay at the hotel it is located in. Beautiful restaurant that resembles a chic, modern, livable loft-like greenhouse engulfed by glass as walls and ceilings. It’s is decorated with live plants used as decor throughout the restaurant. They also grow and use eatable plants in their ingredients for their food options for guests/customers to enjoy. Great service (thank you, Christina). Comfortable chic dining. State of the art bar with cool lighting (both artificial and natural). Nearby parking for a fee. Decent prices.

A nice stop before the Jays game for a quiet and delicious dinner with great service. Mushroom soup had amazing flavour and perfect temperature. Well done! Aracini balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and tasty! Good vegan options and overall a good dinner. Super convenient to have this great restaurant at the hotel for every stay!

This place is one of favourite places. Consistent with food quality and amazing service. The whole restaurant is under a glass dome and it sounds great when it’s raining🥹 The food is just perfect. The soup. The fries ….The fish and steak . I’m there every week and the consistency of the food quality is impressive

My family and I had a wonderful experience here to have a great breakfast buffet. The food quality is good, and the restaurant atmosphere is so cozy; furthermore, there is a gentleman whose name is Josh and thanks for his excellent service, and his beautiful smile. We were so grateful to have his service, and that made our day
