Azkadenya Mediterranean - Mississauga

One of our favorite spots for manakeesh in town! The cheese manakeesh here is delicious. A nice blend of cheese here which is not quite nostalgic for me but still really enjoyable. The dish is served in a larger platter in a pizza style. Other dishes that I tried include the mixed platter and shish tawook platter. Both dishes are quite good but not amazing in my opinion. However the quality of food here is excellent, and maybe that's why it doesn't hit the right notes for the shawarma I remember! The chicken is white meat and well cooked. Spices are great here but not too strong, which makes for a lighter meal. The hummus is delicious! Overall, I see Azkadenya becoming a frequent favorite when looking for a solid manakeesh. It's a little bit on the pricey side for what it is but that's alright - it'll cost about $15/person for a platter and manakeesh, which was led to fill bellies for us. Can't wait to try some other manakeesh varieties here.

The food was authentic and beautifully presented, making the experience truly enjoyable. The saffron rice was a highlight—perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. The staff stood out for their incredible friendliness and hospitality, making the experience even more pleasant. They were attentive and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of. Overall, it’s a place where great food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment come together perfectly.

The restaurant is based on a self service model, so it's ideally a takeout place. Food was decent, not exceptionally flavourful. Nice ambience. Bread was very fresh.

WORTH IT... One of the best places to eat. The food was exceptional, spot on mediterranean, made us feel like home. Everything was delicious, the Humus is out of this world, especially with their home made bread. Even the tea and mint is delicious. Service, the friendliest people, Yazan and chef Fawzi, always smiling, we arrived after breakfast, and we requested if we can still have breakfast, they were so nice to make the exception.

This was our first time here, and we wanted to try other Mediterranean restaurants in our area. The atmosphere is very nice, but it has very limited spacing for dine-in. We ordered two platter dishes with a side of fries; one was the mixed grill and the second Levantine. Both were delicious. Pro: delicious flavor with a side of crunchy fries and mini pita bread was a good size portion to fill you. Hummus and garlic sauce were tasty and freshly made. Con: The meat provided was not enough, very small portion, and I think it didn't do justice with the platter. Water is not provided threfore you have small cups that you can fill before you take a seat. Dine-in seating may cater to 40 people. Overall, it was a good restaurant to try. They can increase the size portion for meat provided in the platter, but other than that, the atmosphere and cleanliness were well maintlained.

First of all, I would like to thank the waiter Yazan for his wonderful service. For anyone who misses the traditional Jordanian or authentic Palestinian breakfast, you have to visit this place, which has never disappointed me. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, great cleanliness, authentic flavours and professionalism. I definitely recommend them and will come back many times.

New find in Mississauga. Great spot for some delicious Arabian food. Artistic interior creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Menu is simple to follow with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The table covers are a unique concept as well. The food serving size was adequate and tasted delicious. The service is a bit average, but it's one of those things that can be improved with training. When we visited, it was 90% packed, so that might be the reason for the staff being on edge, which is understandable. But for some, this might be a deal breaker, especially if there's plenty of other options across the street. A simple greeting or smile can make a difference.

Welcomed with a smile and great patience as it was our first time trying food from Jordan. The lady taking our order was helpful and nice enough to go over all the options available. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served here! Very clean and vibrant place. Complimentary water is next to the counter. Table service is standard, though it took a considerable amount of time (busy); it was absolutely worth the wait! I definitely will be back with family and friends. Five stars for sure!
