Azarias Restaurant

Felt ignored, promised dancing for new years at 10pm, delayed 1.5 hours and then never took off, everyone left by then, big disappointment, burned tacos, which we returned, underwhelming fondue. Shrimp cocktail was good. Disappointing won’t be back.

I absolutely love this place! The cheese fondue is a great little pick! To Sergio who left a one star over the Uber eats driver picking food up from the back, why would you want delivery drivers traipsing thru the restaurant while your dining? MIND YOU OWN BUSINESS AND SHAME ON YOU FOR IT! We love you Azarias!

Great atmosphere and service at Azarias, located on bloor street west near royal York station. The food was also good and we would order a few things again which include the Kung Pao Chicken which was spicy and tangy and the grilled salmon tacos which was simple yet tasty. The flavour of the fried cod taco was amazing but there was very little of the fish and mainly consisted of the fried dough. The Thai lemongrass and coconut broth mussels were pretty good as well. Overall, Azarias was a pleasant dining experience and we’re glad we were able to try it!

4 x there , the food was delicious good place for tapas, the scallops were done to perfection, roast beef sliders delicious the waitress was attentive and knowledgeable didn’t have to wait long for our food even though for a Saturday was busy …get there early tho, we had reservations for 6:30 and was getting busy, the atmosphere is good but except for this annoying customer that sat behind us who had to talk loud for other customers to hear ..by the end of our meal I wanted to scream for her to shut up!!!! But other than that everything was good …oh and the fish taco 🌮 superb!!!!!

I highly recommend this restaurant. Fine dining but also relaxed environment. Giving it a 4 because a few dishes didn't do it for me, personally and comparing to my experience and taste. Pleasant Sommelier, Quey. Great selection of wines. We went with Colognole Chianti Rafina. Very pleasant light wine to go with such flavouful dishes. Our server, was phenomenal, very attentive. Food came so fast. A beautiful olive oil and baguette is served while you chose your dishes and settle in - PERFECT. Had 5 appis: Brussel Sprouts - 3.5 lacked acidity and roast crunch. But good flavour! Indian Fried chicken sliders - 4.5/10 Duck Confit Tacos - 4/10 could be 5 if add more pickled onion. It's so rich it just needs a tad more acid. Which they happily gave us. The salmon cakes we 3/10 Heard from the table next to us that the Kingsway sliders were to die for so we will definitely be back to try more dishes!

After learning my birthday needed to be cancelled due to COVID, I decided to treat myself to a Saturday lunch at Azarias. My server, Hannah, was delightful! She recommended a lovely wine pairing for their heavenly short ribs and engaged in easy, friendly conversation that I ended up enjoying what could have been a rather sad day. The vibe was quiet, the food was exquisite, the service kind and attentive. I’m never disappointed with this local gem.

Fine dining experiences are definitely different. I ordered poached Shrimp and salmon Tartar, both were awesomely delicious. I should have done a repeat of it!! They serve fresh bread with olive oil which I almost finished. I also ordered Duck confeit tacos, but those were not to my taste( my first time trial) Staff was very pleasant, ambiance is excellent and has summer vibes. I will repeat 👍

I came here for my bday dinner. One of my friend's faves this summer. Food was delicious and the vibe was great. The taco and muscles were my top picks of the night but everything tasted yummy. I would definitely go back.
