Avenue Cafe + Bistro

Great place! The coffee beans is super aromatic and the food is very tasty. An average latte+mushroom soup+sandwich with chips cost $33. But the volume of food was really hugeee! I recommend everyone to try this place!

Happy to see this spot finally open! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a staff that's both warm and attentive. Their coffee has quickly become my go-to treat during work breaks, and the sandwiches are fresh and flavorful. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend giving this place a try—you won’t be disappointed.

After years of passing by this place it's finally open! I tried the mushroom soup and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich...I gotta say, I was NOT disappointed at all! 🍖 🥪 A much option than the Timmy's and starbucks nearby.

Finally opened! It took so many years, but it worthed. We ordered avocado bagel, montreal smoked meat sandwich and mushroom soup. It was very delicious. Staff knows the menu, they give reccomandations, and they are nice and kind. It is very clean and new. I enjoyed my americano a lot. 🥰❣️

I ordered the Clubhouse Classic with coleslaw on the side for lunch. The sandwich came on a fresh Italian bun, generously filled with turkey breast and beef salami. The veggies were fresh, and the balsamic mayo added a fantastic touch. As someone from Europe, this sandwich hit the spot perfectly. The illy iced coffee is a must-try, and I loved that they offer sugar-free vanilla syrup—definitely extra points for that!

This place had been closed for over 3 years and it seems they had opened a couple of times (for maybe a day or two) in the past few months but rapidly closed again. We finally decided to go there again when we saw it opened this past Saturday. The man who greeted us (I think he is the manager/owner) was friendly as were the girls making the drinks. There were other 5-6 other people inside enjoying their drinks and food. We ended up ordering a large cafe latte and a butter croissant for $10.45 (total). I also overheard the owner or manager saying that they were planning a grand opening in the next 2 weeks, which makes sense with all the new students moving in to start the new school year. Anyway, the latte tasted more like a cappuccino but the croissant was a good large size, super flaky and buttery - so yummy! We will be back in the coming weeks to try more of their drinks.

This store took months to open. It opened for a few days, and closed again. Maybe I visited while things were still getting figured out, but staff didn't really know what to recommend for baked goods. I didn't think the baked goods were made at the store or anywhere near. It tasted like previously frozen. Coffee was excellent.

I picked up a latte here in the morning on my way to work. The cafe is brand new and very clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. I also like the black and white artwork they have on their wall. I was in a bit of a rush so didn't get to try their food but will definitely come back to try it out. Very nice and exciting to see small businesses opening up in this area. Love supporting local small businesses and shops!
