Authentic Tamil food combines the six important tastes of Sweet, Salt, Spicy, Pungent, Sour and Bitterness in every dish. Arusuvai the Tamil word means, the combination of the 6 taste. The Brain’s food receptors receives the signal and creates the magic of satisfaction. Authentic food is a pure magical experience that touches all the senses and that’s what we strive to achieve with our kitchen.

Felt the flavour of Tamil Nadu after a long time. Not spicy - suits Kids very well. Food Portion size was standard. Best for takeout, because of limited seating.

Quick service and good food. The quirky chennai art on the walls adds to the ambience. #ThalaForAReason. Everything we ordered was tasty and well made. One drawback for which I took one star off is because of where we were seated, every time the door opened there is a cold blast of air that's quite uncomfortable. Highly recommend the thali.

The Best South Indian Biryani in the Neighborhood! This South Indian restaurant has become my go-to spot for biryani. Ever since my first visit, I’ve been having their biryani every week, and it never disappoints! Their special biryani, available on Wednesdays and weekends, is a true delight, bursting with authentic flavors. The Naatu Kozhi Fry is another highlight—perfectly spiced and crispy, it’s the ideal complement to the biryani. The Parotta Salna is packed with flavor, and even their non-veg meals are outstanding. If you’re a fan of South Indian cuisine, this place is a must-try!

Found this restaurant while searching for a new destination of south Indian food. I went in without any expectations and I lowered the expectations after getting in, they have limited dining space and ambience is good. Quantity is descent and price is comparable. Tried the pallipalayam chicken first: small chicken pieces with great masala , red chillies and coconut. Masala dosa with three yummy chutneys and sambar, Chennai kalyana biriyani-chicken tasted similar to the authentic one, parotta, coffee, masala omelette and masala kalakki everything tasted so delicious and it is very rare that I find all the items I ordered goes beyond the standard Indian version in Canada. I went there by evening and I would like to taste their thali meal in future. There is only limited dining space available and washroom is not easily accessible. However, I would recommend it for the food. keep up the good work.

Name: Arusuvai means six tastes in Tamil a south indian Language. It refers to sweet, hot, bitter, sour, salt and pungent. it is traditionally believed that all feast should represent six tastes. The things you learn!! New experience, saw it on the North side of Dundas in a strip mall. They open at 12 noon so we had to wait to get in but ordered a Masala Dosa as another gentleman was waiting and said he was gonna order it, so we did the same !! It was absolutely Delish nice and hot, crispy with all the trimmings, definitely come again, highly recommend!! Service, attentive, and quick.

Experience pure South Indian cuisine in Mississauga! From crispy dosas to mouth-watering idlis, everything we tried was delightful. The vegetarian parotta salna is amazing, and the chicken biryani is awesome. The main star is the colorful and delicious vegetarian South Indian thali. Highly recommend trying this cuisine! 🌟

It offers a great taste of Tamil Nadu cuisine with an overall enjoyable experience. The ambience is neat and good, but the dining area is quite small, so you might have to wait for a table during busy times. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The prices are affordable and not too expensive, making it a good option for authentic Tamil food. I really enjoyed their kothu parotta, though it had a few toppings that were different from what I’m used to in Tamil Nadu. Their parottas are fluffy, and the salna is incredibly tasty without being too oily. The dosas are perfectly cooked, and the sambaar is excellent. Overall, it’s a great place to experience Tamil Nadu cuisine.

Small little spot that fills very fast, you can smell the food being cooked(literally the spices and different flavors). The food was one of the best south Indian cuisine I've had in a long time. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend any of their briyani and their chicken lollipop. Mutton Kola Urundai, Chennai Kalayana Briyani and Special Non Veg Meats are also good dishes. The flavors with the seasonings they use is on point and to die for. Flavorful and plentiful food, what else can you ask for from a restaurant, especially a good South Indian one. I will definitely be returning often when I'm in the area!
