Artful Dodger Pub

I have no idea why I didn’t know about this great pub just off of Yonge Street that inhabits two turn of the century houses. They pour a proper pint of Guinness, the service is good and locals populate the place probably for decades. Love it.

An authentic looking pub with good food, great service, good prices and a great atmosphere. This is my second visit to The Artful Dodger and I will certainly return again. The "Dodger" is located a short walk from either the Bloor or Wellesley subway stations. This a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy some food with a pint or two! The pub atmosphere is cozy, warm and friendly. A great place to sit and chat and not overpoweringly loud (at least when I have visited). The food menu is for the most part is typically pub, with a few twists. The choice of menu items appears to offer a little more choice compared to most pubs. The food is very good, based on my experience ordering the burger and the chicken club. Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, prompt and engaging even though she appeared to be taking care of the bar and the lower floor. Definitely worth a return visit!

We came here to have some beers with friends, before dinner. It's a big place they have 3 areas, 2 downstairs and one more like party room upstairs. And I imagine that during summer they have the patio that is a big area too. Our waiter was very good, constantly checking on us if we need something else. Good beer selection, we have just nachos and fries. I like the nachos, their jalapenos were spicy and I like that, and they have a tiny portion of salsa and guacamole. I appreciate that, normally they charge for extras, but this was included . Cool place coming back for a chill Friday after work

We were greeted promptly and shown to our reserved table. Drinks and apps order taken fairly quickly. Apps arrived in reasonable time. The deep-fried pickles and onion rings were amazing! Not that the cauliflower bites weren't very tasty... but the other two... The mains were very tasty - portions on the large side, so plan accordingly. The Cuban Sandwich - yummy!

Very laid back, just the kind of bar I like to frequent. No loud music; easy to chit chat with fellow drinkers on any topic under the sun, notably the US presidential debate. Nice collection of draft beers, very reasonably priced. Excellent location, just a 4 min walk to Bloor-Yonge subway station and away from the noise & traffic at the same time. My new favorite bar in Toronto. Didn't try any food or bar bites, just draft beer. I'll try the spacious looking outdoor seating next time.

Typical pub food that can be underwhelming but not horrible. Service was pretty good even with what seems to be one person working two separate rooms. Moderately busy for a Tuesday evening. Good place to go to sit and chat. Very cozy and homey. Would come again!

The Artful Dodger Pub in Toronto left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped in, the ambience felt lackluster and uninspired. The decor seemed outdated, and the overall atmosphere failed to evoke the cozy charm expected from a traditional pub setting. Despite the dim lighting and rustic furnishings attempting to create an inviting environment, it fell short of expectations. Moving on to the food, my experience was disappointing. The menu offered typical pub fare, but the execution left much to be desired. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse, presenting a mediocre culinary experience. From the appetizers to the main course, nothing stood out as exceptional or memorable. However, where the Artful Dodger Pub excelled was in its service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout my visit. Despite the shortcomings in other areas, the excellent service helped salvage the overall experience to some extent. In conclusion, while the Artful Dodger Pub in Toronto may have friendly service, it fails to impress with its ambience and food offerings. For those seeking a memorable dining experience, this establishment may not be the most satisfying choice.

We were looking 👀 for a new 🆕 place 🍴where we can try a good 👍 Fish 🎣 🐟 🐠 & Chips 🍟 and delicious 🤤 food 🥘. So, we decided to visit Artful Dodger Pub located in Toronto, ON. If you’re looking 👀 for a phenomenal food 🍲 🍱 🥘 / dining experience, look no further than Artful Dodger Pub. Their menu is a culinary masterpiece, offering an incredible selection of dishes that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳 is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. Artful Dodger Pub is a lovely 😊 place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city 🏙️ in spite of being in the city 🌃. There’s an ample parking 🅿️ space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. 

The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following 🆙. The food 🍱 🍲 🥘 menu is great 👍 and there are many choices to choose from and they also offer quite a lot of small bites options to choose from.

Pricing 💲 is decent, good 👍 value for money 💰 💵 and the place is more suitable for a group of people.
