I ordered a simple large chicken curry. The food was good, but I’m uncertain about the portion size and the pricing. I was asked whether I wanted naan or rice, and I assumed it was included in the price—apparently, it wasn’t. When I asked for rice, it cost me an additional $7 on top of the curry. The server seemed to think I wanted extra rice, but I clarified that I just wanted the large curry with rice. She brought out a very small portion, insisting it was the large size. It’s unfortunate. The food was good, and the price seemed reasonable, but I feel the service was lacking.

I specifically made it very clear that I do not eat spicy food, and requested for my food to be mild. The employee assured me this would be the case. The paneer was fine, however the butter chicken was still way too spicy and I had to throw it out as a result. I’m requesting a refund of my butter chicken dish. My total was $37.29 CAD November 23rd at 3:29pm. The review will be updated if I get my refund.

Dropped by with a friend for dinner at this little place. They have amazing food. Small dine in area but very busy for takeout. I wish I had a bigger stomach because everything was fresh and delicious. Excellent and friendly service. They put on music for us and nice lighting. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This is our go to place for doubles and I must say they serve the city’s best! While the husbands favourite is the simple channa doubles, mine are the jerk chicken and curry goat ones. Every element that goes into what they make is made in house and you can tell! We also had a chance to taste their stew chicken and it was delectable! I can’t wait to go back and try their stew chicken doubles. Their service is also just as fabulous as their food. The couple that run it are such warm hosts. They are so welcoming and that alone makes it feel like home! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Our first experience with Indian cuisine was unforgettable. About 10-15 years ago, we met the owner, Josh, a genuinely great gentleman. I've yet to find another place like Aromas; every Indian restaurant I visit is measured against it, and nothing comes close. Now that we live in Houston, we miss it dearly. Steve and Cindy, 5 stars!

Let me start by saying the food at Aroma Indian Bistro is fresh and amazing! Everything is cooked to perfection. We arrived around 8:50 PM and received our food at 9:30 PM, which was understandable given that they prepare most dishes fresh. We appreciated the quality this brings! The owner was super friendlyy, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We’ve never had such thick lassi in Canada; it truly reminded us of back home. We tried the mango lassi and rose lassi, both of which were delightful. The Hakka noodles were amazing too, but a but spicy so if you ain’t a fan of spice ask them to reduce the spice ! For starters, we also had the paneer tikka, which was delicious, and my friend ordered the dal makhani with jeera rice, which was equally impressive. Overall, a 10/10 experience. This small business deserves support from the community as they strive to grow. They also offer a tiffin service, I asked however they don’t deliver where I stay. We'll definitely be coming back soon! I do believe they are more famous for take out, so place your orders early :)

It was an amazing experience. We came pretty late and had got a warm wellcome from the owner. The cook explained us how they made their meals and made them fresh for each and everyone fulfilling our preferences and dietary restrictions. It worths a lot, it's hard to get such service these days. The guys in the restaurant let us sit and enjoy our food for extra 30 minutes after their official closing time. The food was amazing, roti, paneer, spices, it was soo good ... Their vegetarian meals are epic. I am so glad we have found this place, we will be often guests at Aroma.
