Great and cozy space for family events! The staff is friendly and very helpful. I have been photographing quite a few events here - always a pleasure! I am very excited about the new space design & lighting upgrade!

We had an amazing time dancing with friends, but food was horrible. No service provided as we expected. We had a party of 5, "girls night out party", dancing and karaoke. But, food we ordered and went for dancing been removed, salads was oily and has no taste, food was not fresh. I got sick after party, even reported to Public Health. The only good was a chance to meet my girlfriends after long time and had crazy dancing time. Would not recommended this place.

My friends and I attended a special event at Arbat last night. The number of tickets sold for that event was known ahead of time, yet the management decided to save money and have only a few waitresses working to serve lots of people. It took us TWO FREAKING HOURS to get our food! Two hours!.. The waitresses, both serving the tables and working at the bar, just outright ignored any attempts of the visitors to talk to them, call them up, inquire about the status of our food, etc. Like, you start talking to a waitress, she looks at you, then without saying a word turns away and walks off! If someone wants to experience what "customer service" (a non-existent concept) in the former Soviet Union used to look like, Arbat is the best place to do that! Also, the doors to the venue kept opening and closing, and there was a freezing breeze sweeping all through the venue the whole night. I guess, the owners, again, were too cheap to turn on heating - on a freezing December evening! Never again are we going to this venue.

We went here for our friend's birthday party, what a great choice! The food was absolutely amazing, with so many delicious dishes that we couldn't possibly try everything (though we definitely tried!). The live music really made the night special - they played great tunes that got everyone up and dancing. The whole vibe was super comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a celebration. If you're looking for a fun spot where you can relax and have a good time with friends, Arbat is definitely worth checking out. The service was spot-on, the atmosphere was fantastic, and everyone had a blast. We'll definitely be back for our next celebration!

They hosted my sons Baptism party and it was truly an unforgettable night! They catered to everything, and we truly felt like royalty that night! Would recommend this venue for your next event.

Very nice restaurant, service excellent with attention to details. The owner and his staff go above and beyond to please customers. Music is wonderful. Definitely recommend that you try it out.

Russian Done Right!!! Being no stranger to the Russian community, as I have many Russian friends from all over Russia, and have been to Russian weddings, barbecues, other events and have eaten many traditional dinners at the homes of my friends. I have heard about Arbat from many of my friends over the years and heard such great things about it, sadly I have never eaten there before. Well, I finally got my chance as I was invited to a wedding at Arbat!!. Arbat is located near Dufferin and Center Street right near the famous Concord Foods Grocery store, a landmark in the area. It is a restaurant and an event space for banquets and weddings. It's a little on the smaller side for an event space but our group was easily accommodated. There is live music and karaoke on certain nights and the singers although Russian can and will sing in English and sing English songs ( just ask ). There are set menus for the regular diners and its charged by the type of food and the amount of guests. When the food started coming out, you tell right away who was familiar with Russian food and cuisine and who was not, as they started bringing course after course after course. Some of the guests were full after the first two courses since they didn't realize the main courses had yet to be served. I sampled as many of the delicacies as I could patiently waiting for the main courses to arrive. Every dish that was brought was made to a very high standard with fresh ingredients and high-quality cuts of meat, fish and seafood. The kid's meals were very good as well, although they were full by the time their meals came out my kids said their food was really good. We had a great time, listened to such great music and now I want to go back for dinner. Any takers?

This is the best place to host any event. The food is out of this world. Our guests really enjoyed our event and I would like to day a big thanks to management. I would highly recommend anyone who would like to have any party or function to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
