Anji Izakaya

Came to Anji Izakaya on Saturday night around 9:00pm. There is no wait, and we got our table right the way. They started to get busy around 9:30pm. You can make reservations if you come before 9:00pm. They don't make reservations after 9:00 pm Services are excellent here, The food is great! We ordered Nagasaki Champon. Which is soup broth with the choice of ramen or udon with seafood. The soup broth is really good. Yukhoe(Korean beef tartare) is also very good. The grill beef intestine is ok but not much flavor to it. ask them for some salt and sprinkle on it. It makes a big difference. Is a small restaurant so not recommended for groups more than 4 people. You are allowed to park on the street (Yonge Street) on the weekend after 9 pm. You can't park on the street during the day, so be careful. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant as well.

We had an amazing experience at Anji Izakaya. The food was absolutely delicious—everything we tried was spot on. The karaage was perfectly crispy, the motsunabe was rich and flavorful, and the Nagasaki udon had a comforting depth of taste. The stir-fried gopchang was full of flavor, the takoyaki was delightful, and the yukhoe was fresh and well-seasoned. We also loved the squid butter grill; it was tender and incredibly tasty. To top it off, the drinks were fantastic—we enjoyed both the beer and yuzu highball, which complemented the meal perfectly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience!

We are a group of 8 people today, had a wonderful Birthday Dinner at Anji Izakaya. Service was the best and most enjoyable experience ever. The food was amazing we ordered a lot of menu and all of them were superb!!! especially “Shimesaba”💕 The two girls who provided us the service with care and professional. I would recommend this Izakaya and for sure to come back next time.

I’ve been to this place for a couple times because the food is pretty good. This time my bf ordered a chicken mayo donburi for take out. First, the rice is super wet and I realised the bottom of the bowl is full of the mix of oil and sauce?! That looks really greasy from the photo I show. Second, the chicken is not as crispy is usual maybe it’s because of take out. But I would say it could be better. Given that the price is not cheap, I would have to say it should be better. Anyway, I’m really disappointed, it’s always sad to see when you can maintain the quality for dine in but lower the standard when it comes to take out because customer could’t complain when they’re not in the place. 100% not recommended to do take out if you wanna try this place…

Kinda dark in there. Music is loud, had to shout at my guest. Food was piping hot and good. Prices are reasonable.

A very cute and intimate place of gathering to enjoy small bites and drinks with friends. I've come here a couple times and each time is as good as the last. The food is always fresh and nicely seasoned; they have a very extensive menu that I look forward to trying more of. Will definitely come back again.
