Animl Steakhouse Toronto

Extremely beautiful restaurant, loved the ambience and the atmosphere. We had the striploin, the chicken, hamachi crudo and the gold bar. While our steak was a little overdone, it was ok, the chicken on the other hand was amazing. The gold bar for dessert is really unique. They have many options of halal steak and the chicken was halal too. Our waitress was amazing and she recognized me from another place I went to. Overall it was a nice outing, you won’t be disappointed.

Great service and food. Cocktails are very well executed. Appetizers are fantastic. Steaks are sublime. Recommend to get the A5 wagyu to share.

Had an opportunity to celebrate my birthday just a day after the Animl was opened. One of the prettiest Retro themed places . The gold bar dessert was delicious 🌟Manger is genuinely humble person. It was pouring as our car was parked too far from the restaurant, He offered us an umbrella. Definitely will revisit!!❤️

Had a great experience here. Everything was worth it but the things I would have again are: - Crudo - Pastrami - Heirloom tomato salad - Caesar salad (the bacon was bomb) I'd like to try to lamb next time! The steak was good. Loved the sides! Our server Gabby was 10/10! Attentive and friendly. The owner Sacha also stopped by to ask about our experience and you can tell he really values his clientele which is nice to see. The aesthetic is 10/10 I love the upside down cow. The perfume available in the washroom was nice. The only thing I noticed is that the entrance was a little small and it was crowded. Also shout out to the lampshades !!! They're awesome I would definitely come back.

The ambience, decor, food, and cocktails were absolutely on point. I recommend the Eden or The ring my bell cocktails. The porterhouse is a must have. I loved sitting at the bar and watching the team create cocktails while offering A+ hospitality.

Overall: best quality restaurant of 2024. Unbelievable experience. Great for celebrating special occasions. Drinks: Ordered 4 different drinks -> all AMAZING Japanese Milk Bread - great Caesar Salad - must get. I don’t even like salad, and this is a MUST get. The bacon was UNREAL!!! I would come back here JUST for the Caesar salad. Porter House -> must get!!! Best Porter House I’ve ever had!!!!!! Perfectly cooked. All desserts were incredible as well. Gabby was the perfect waitress! 10/10 service.

Love visiting new restaurants! Animl did not disappoint, the studio 55 vibes was great. We started off with some oysters which were super fresh ( the house made hot sauce was not spicy enough). Our mains were steak ofcourse, perfectly cooked and accompanied with the creamed corn which was my favourite and also seasonal mushrooms. Would definitely come back again

A fabulous experience that I’d recommend must be had. It all starts with the location in a back alley, making you feel like you’re entering a hidden, taboo world. Once you’re in you’re blown away by the design. Every detail is thought out and well executed. The feel is that of a posh, exclusive, hidden gem of a place. The decor fits the theme with animal everywhere. Probably the most on theme and beautiful restaurant in town. 11/10 The service is attentive and well executed. This was a a surprise given how brief a time the service have had to get used to things. Everything from the host to the servers to the managers visiting to ensure your comfort was amazing. The space is very intimate and you feel seen and well, taking care of. The food was a solid nine out of 10 this may be an understatement, but I love everything we had from the Porter house to the shrimp to the cream corn to the asparagus to the potato gratin. Did the Japanese milk bread to the Caesar salad to the tomato salad and everything else we tried. The only suggestion for improvement is in the dessert section. The presentation of the black forest cake was unique the taste of the black forest cake left you wondering where the Black Forest was.
