Good place, good food service could be better. Eat here frequently and prices although normal they can climb up quickly. The quality of food seems fresh although parotta seems to be cooked in batches and you could get it fresh or something from morning. My go to items are mutton Salna won't parotta as this seems to be reasonable and also omelette. I'd recommend these items. Their other items like fried rice and chukka mutton are also good..but if you're into South indian spices.

Super friendly staff and very delicious food! Ordered a kids meal, came with smile fries, cheese Dosa, Rose Milk and Gulab jamun all for $9.99!! Had a masala dosa, chicken biriyani and puris with channa masala. So good and can’t wait to go back!

Amazing food. We ordered kolim soup (they just started this new on menu) it was delicious.. still drooling. Prawns 65 were too good. Paratha with chicken Salna was best. Server was friendly and helped us with suggestions, they had some promo for dine-in so we got a drink for free.

I wasn’t feeling well yesterday and asked a friend to bring some South Indian food!! Idly Sambhar was amazing. The red chutney was the best part though! And also the note really made a difference and I got reminded to post a review today even though I forgot to do so yesterday!! Keep up the good work :)

I recently visited a new South Indian restaurant, which had a lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Despite being informed that the food would take 20 to 30 minutes, it arrived surprisingly quickly. While some dishes were a bit on the oily side, the flavors were impressive overall. The combination of attentive service and flavorful food makes it a promising spot to explore. It's definitely worth checking out for those interested in authentic South Indian cuisine.

My friend and I went in for dinner on a Saturday evening. We ordered a Chili paneer as a starter, but it showed up as a curry... definitely not what we were expecting. A lot of other items we wanted from the starter menu, the waitress said was unavailable. However, the menu did not specify that certain items were only available at certain times of the day. Next, we ordered onion rava dosas, and they were FILLED with whole black peppercorns, which was surprising, to say the least. The sambar and chutneys that came with dosas were good. Each bite of the dosa had at least 5 whole peppercorns in it. I've eaten rava dosas before and this is NOT normal, when the owner came over he asked if everything was okay and I pointed out that there was too much black pepper his response was "have you never had a rava dosa before" which was quite insulting. He tried to make up for it by offering free gulab jamuns. I ordered a half chicken biryani for takeout and that had only one drumstick and tons of whole spices. But the flavour was good with the help of the gravy that came with it. Another critique is that the staff seemed in a rush to get us out of the shop and close for the night. The waitress took away our waters even before we paid the bill. Overall, the food was decent but not something I would return for.

Finally decided to try this place and it was okay. We ordered the king fish fry as an appetizer and as you can see it was burnt and a bit dry. Also ordered the Chicken Kari Dosa. There is hardly any chicken in this dish. It’s like shredded chicken but barely any chicken , disappointing. Lastly ordered the Ghee Masala Dosa, that was good. The place itself is a bit bland lacking any vibrant decor or ambiance. Service was good. With all the Indian restaurants opening in Durham Region you have to provide excellent quality as people have more of choice for South Indian food.

South Indian restaurants are a rarity in Ajax. So we were looking forward to it as the reviews are awesome. It was a little underwhelming on our first visit. Had ordered Masala Dosa, Dindigul Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65 and Butter Chicken, Paratta's and Tea. Dosa was on the colder side and potato stuffing didnt taste fresh. That was a let down as a South Indian restaurant you would expect to get the Dosa on point. Chicken 65 and butter chicken was decent. Dindigul biryani was good, maybe could have used a bit more salt. One of the server/could be owner listened to what we had to say. They have been open for couple of months and making some changes to the menu. Will probably give them a try later on once its more settled.
