Amigo's Latin Flavour

Just had lunch there trying to support small business and not big corporations, but this place is horrendous!!! Ordered the Argentino burger with fries. The food comes out on a crappy paper plate you would use in a park for a BBQ. The burger was all over the place, everything falling out. The fries were tasteless, and no even ketchup in site. Had to use taco hot sauce and salsa verde. As I'm eating, I hear the owner spraying something beside me. As I turn he spraying something out of a spray bottle on counter right beside the sauces! Instant heavy chemical smell filled the restaurant. I asked what did he spray? He said "air freshner". Like whaaat...? The chemical smell was so bad I had to grab my plate and leave the restaurant. It was unbearable!!! When I told the guy, he looked at me like I'm crazy!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!

I ordered "churrasco with fries", along with "churros with dulce de leche". The churrasco wasn't very good, which was due to the older avocado, excessive mayo, lackluster bread which was extremely soft. While the meat itself was okay, it was not worth getting. The fries taste and look like reheated McDonalds fries. The portion is about the same size of a large as well. The saving grace to this restaurant was the best churros I have tried in Toronto. The churros were a good thickness, freshly made and flavour made that evident. They topped it with lots of sugar on top, which stuck well so it wouldn't create a mess. The overall flavour was consistent with funnel cake. The dulce de leche drips easily, since it is more runny than normal, resulting in inconsistency in the filling. If you leave it in the bag standing, it will drip all the way to the bottom of the bag. Arrived at the location and struggled to fine parking. They had a parking lot in the back of the location, but it was shared with various other businesses. Right next to the store, there is a makeshift parking area as well but that was full as well. I had to park on the street. They accept cash and credit (including AMEX). It took about 15 minutes to complete the order. Ultimately, I probably won't be back for their full meals, but I will definitely be back to try the churros with various other fillings.

The gentleman that runs this location is extremely hospitable and the food is DELICIOUS!!!! They are famous for their churros and empanadas. I highly suggest the Colombian beef and potatoes empinadas, and make sure to use extra of the spicy salsa when eating. I have been a regular customer for about a year now and I will forever come here so long as I live and breath!!!

I wanted to like this place but I wish I'd never come here. The taco shells were soggy and the chips were stale. The meat had a super weird and unappetizing flavor as did their green salsa. Both kinda tasted spoiled but not quite. I don't know how to explain this food but NEVER again will I come here. I bought two orders of the beef tacos. Had to throw them out. Waste of money.

If I could give 0 stars I would. If the pictures don't show up then I will describe my empanadas. In the picture from Uber Eats and their own website, they seem like they would be nice and soft with a delicious meat filling, almost like a panzerotti. What I actually got was an overcooked, crunchy shelled, mush insides empanada. The shell had so much crunch it was very unfitting and obnoxious. Inside of the shell, I'm not sure if it was potato, or if the dough on the inside just wasn't cooked properly, but how do you overcook the outside and not cook the inside??? Whatever was inside as a filling did not taste like meat nor did it have the texture of meat. I've gotten better more consistent texture and food at McDonald's.

Fries just soaked with nacho’s sauce, the girl in front is kind of rude, my order was wrong, the chef argued with customers about a small easy thing to solve, chef doesn’t have apron on just reg clothes,all nasty which is he wiping his dirty hands on ( I’m guessing. because it was really nasty). I think they changed ownership because it’s nothing like the photo or reviews in here. salsa taste like sour and alcohol.mild salsa has white dot floating(hoping that wasn’t mold) I never had nasty salsa like here. Hope I don’t get sick from it. ☹️🤢 churros is old stale taste like deep fryer old greasy. It’s really disappointed. That is just my opinion.

Was very excited to try out the food, but unfortunately it fell flat. Not a lot of flavor to it besides being salty, the salsa and other sauces were plain as well. The churros were slightly better than average but should not be considered world famous. Also the prices are more expensive now, so for the cost of it, I don't think it's worth it.

I must've ordered on a bad day, looking at all the positive reviews. Ordered chicken burrito but it was terrible. Had way to many wet ingredients, the burrito was dripping all over the chips. The toppings inside was not what I was expecting. Unique but not traditional, unfortunately not to my liking. Truly a unique burrito, but definitely not for me. Order skip and all 4 said the burrito/sandwich was soaked, and not convenient to eat. No one liked it. I feel like this burrito should be in a bowl. Chicken was bland, no flavour at all, wet toppings take over everything. 2 stars because the portion and price offer a good value. The house made tortilla chips were cool. but the dip tasted like nothing. Not sweet. Not salty. Not savory. Don't know what to make of it. This place is not for me
