Katie (our server), is an absolute gem! I have such strong connections to Windsor, therefore, dining here was such an amazing experience. Food was Fantastic! We are so happy that we finally got to experience a piece of our other lives in Windsor with our lives here in Toronto! Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience. We will always remember this. They also gave us a book to look through while we waited for our pizza! Gaetano Pugliese is such an amazing manager here! Honestly, we could not have asked for a better evening. We are so thankful for such wonderful service, and for Gaetano spending so much time talking to us about Windsor as well as our memories! I highly recommend. Pizza was top notch!

I love this place so much. It's super chill, but such a good vibe. The service is amazing and the pizza is BOMB. All you need is one slice! The owner is a really good dude and makes sure his customers are happy and comfortable. Highly recommend this spot!

For the price you pay for a "Large" pizza, it's kind of a joke. $3 for extra pepperoni and $4 for extra cheese. The pizza barely had any pepperoni on it (as you can see from the photo) and there's definitely no extra cheese on the pie. Very disappointed as I've been excited to try this place for a while. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 star instead of a 1 is because the taste was not that bad, but overall, very overpriced for what you get

Kept hearing from a friend about how good Windsor-style pizza is, so when we finally had the chance to try out Ambassador we couldn't pass up the opportunity. Great beer selection and the pizza was delicious - the pepperoni is shredded in Windsor which was a tasty touch, and the dough was very good as well. Definitely recommend!

I'm from Windsor, so I was really excited to try this. The cheese and pepperoni alone were worth it and reminded me of home. The main area to improve upon would be the crust - it needed to be a tad thicker. Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy (and the names of the pizzas)!

Tried Ambassador pizza a little while back because I really wanted to try Windsor style pizza. It was great! Talked to the owner (I think) and he was saying they bring in Galati cheese from Windsor to give the pizza that authentic taste. The crust, the cheese and the shredded pepperonis- it was all great. Definitely check this place out.

Ambassador Pizza is awesome! Probably the best pizza I’ve had in Toronto. It is Windsor-style pizza, so the crust is nice and crispy with a bit of cornmeal and the pepperoni is shredded, not cut into circles. We had the Ambassador Pizza and TBQ rib pizza. Both were fantastic and rib pizza was really unique. Hope this kind of pizza can spread more in Toronto, it is truly a standout in the Toronto pizza scene.

I have dined in, ordered to-go. For the non-dairy crowd: I have provided them with vegan cheese, which they will happily use in place of theirs. Tip: a large pizza can easily be covered by a 200 g bag of vegan mozzarella. The restaurant serves gluten-free pizza, but their mainstay is wheat-based, so I ask the day-of to make sure my gluten-free friends will be able to have GF pizza. That said, if you don't have any dietary restrictions (or want to blow your diet for the night), enjoy their staple pizzas on-menu! The Spitfire is my fave. Ambassador Tavern has been a pleasant place to hang out, watch sports, enjoy Open Mic Sundays and Karaoke Mondays. Get Windsor-style pizza right here in Toronto. My #1 choice for pizza.
