AMAYA real indian food

Absolutely amazing and authentic. #1 in Barrie. Manu provided excellent service. Polite, receptive and prompt. The kitchen was fast and food was hot. Spices were on point. Very authentic. We enjoyed the Tikka Masala (chicken), Lamb Biryani, fish pakora, and garlic cilantro naan. Both were amazing. For dessert we had the Glub-Jub special and it was 10/10. Overall we recommend this restaurant and it is our new spot for authentic Indian food in Barrie.

A-tier Indian food! So good you’ll want to eat the leftovers on the ride home!! Jasmine was great and gave great recommendations for our taste buds. Will definitely be back to try more things off the menu - the roganjosh was phenomenal!

My first time going, I was recommended by a friend and I’m very glad I went. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially our server Karm. Everything tasted amazing and it all came out quickly. The buttons for service on the tables are a great feature. I will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful dining experience thanks to our server Hassan. He was incredibly attentive and helpful, making sure that our family had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was delicious, and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Placed an order online - with specific instructions to deliver at 8 pm. Order arrived at 7:18. The curries were ok - but the vindaloo was not "Goa spicy" vindaloo... it was "I'm trying indian food for the first time" spicy..... We also have a non-indan food lover who ordered french fries - tough to mess up you'd think... They arrived absolutely facid - like they'd been cooked yesterday and warmed for transport. Asked for something to be done, ie discount on next order- or whatever - even just a nod that they made a mistake. Was told the manager would call... no call... so - mediocre review at best... probably better to eat in I guess

First time for the kids to try Indian and they loved it. The service was pleasant and the waiter very helpful. My wife and I love this cuisine and so tasting it done different than others did not disappoint either (onion bhaji). You do have to appreciate some kick in your food and the lamb roganjosh gave that and then some. The portions may seem smaller than others but it is hearty and filling. Was definitely not disappointed with the ambience which was very clean and fresh with a nice interior and not run down looking like some we have been to. Would definitely go again if we are in the area as this round we were going skiing.

I recently dined at Amaya Real Indian Food and had an excellent experience. The food was exceptional, showcasing authentic Indian flavors that truly impressed. Our waiter, Jasmine, provided outstanding service throughout our meal. She frequently checked in to ensure everything was to our liking and her attention to detail made us feel well cared for. The drinks were also excellent, complementing the meal perfectly. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with top-notch service and delicious food. Highly recommend!
